Today was cancelled due to weather. Thus concluding my salmon charter season. Yesterday was a good day had two rookies out for their first salmon hunt and both came away happy and successful at getting their first salmon and personal best so far.
Evan had the better luck bringing in the biggest fish. Did well handling the rod and bringing him in. A good study.
George with the smaller fish but again did a good job and his enthusiasm just ad great

Spent some time in Whitby this past week. Fished the Tyee Sho@otout. A great time, lots of fun. And a great inaugural event. Contrats to Gary Hodge and crew on a first class start.
Didn’t finish as well as hoped but fishing was extremely tough. As witnessed by everyone.
We finished 3rd in the big fish Friday event
Finished 5th in Saturdays big fish event
Finished 9th in the 3 fish box
Finished 9th in the 5 fish box event.
All and all was a enjoyable experience.
