Was almost a full team outing at the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame induction dinner last night. 3/4 of the team was proudly in attendance to watch as Sarah was inducted alongside her 2008 Canadian Junior Champion team. 👏🏻

Christine was also there to share as her dad, Gordon Mackay received the Pat Spiring award. Laura was also celebrating the induction of her cousin, Dan Grant being inducted alongside his 2013 Canadian Junior Champion team also coached by her uncle, Scott Grant. 🥂

🚨TEAM ANNOUNCEMENT🚨

We are thrilled to announce Team MacKay for the 2026-2027 season! We are a Competitive Women’s Curling Team out of Winnipeg, Manitoba.

This team consists of Christine MacKay, Emily Cherwinski, Laura Burtnyk, and Sarah Pyke

After three incredible seasons together, Team Watling has decided to part ways at the conclusion of this season. 🥌

These past three years have been filled with memories, tough battles, and a lot of laughs along the way. As we look toward next season, our skip, Kristy, has decided to take some well-deserved time away from the game. While we will miss seeing her in the house, we fully support her decision to step back and recharge.
