Happy Friday All! We are getting closer to the Curling start-up! Sept. 28th is when it all begins🥌😀‼️

In the "Sturling League" there are 8 open spots right now!
This draw takes place on Thursdays at 2pm! The Sturling league has teams of 2 people which makes it an excellent opportunity to meet new people and throw lots of rocks!

🥌 CALLING ALL CURLING VOLUNTEERS! 🥌

The Strathcona Curling Club is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help introduce school-age children to the fun of curling!

No need to be a professional curler — just bring your enthusiasm, patience, and love of the game. Volunteers will help children learn the basics, build confidence on the ice, and most importantly, have fun!

👧🧒 Who we're looking for:
• Experienced curlers who enjoy working with kids
• Parents, grandparents, and club members
• Anyone who wants to help grow the next generation of curlers

🥌 What you'll do:
• Help teach basic curling skills
• Assist children on the ice
• Encourage and support young curlers
• Help create a fun, welcoming experience

❤️ You don't have to be an expert — you just have to be willing to help!

If you can spare some time and would like to help introduce kids to one of Canada's great sports, we'd love to hear from you.

Member clubs are encouraged to review the AGM materials and submit their RSVP, whether a representative will be attending or not. Clubs unable to attend are encouraged to submit a proxy form.

Hey all! The 2026/27 curling season is now open!
Click on the link below to register.

There are a few changes on the website for those registering in the Tuesday Open, Thursday Men’s, and the Friday Open leagues. When registering you need to know your team’s skip’s name. This ensures that all the players are grouped together. This year when you go to enter your skips name, if someone from your team has already registered before you, then your skips name may appear in a drop-down list, and you can select it from there. If you are the first to register for your team your skips name will not be listed and you can enter it in the space provided, just click in the field and enter the name.

Registration for the Monday Afternoon Social League and the Wednesday Afternoon Social League is by invite only for the month of July. If you were registered in these leagues during the winter session you will receive a separate email with a special link to allow you to pre-register. These leagues will not appear on the website with the other leagues. These are very popular leagues and tend to fill up fast. Starting August 1st these leagues will be open to the public to register.
