‼️Upcoming Kayak Self-Rescue Clinic‼️

Build confidence and essential skills for getting yourself and your kayak back on the water after a capsize. This hands-on clinic covers practical self-rescue techniques, including re-entry methods, kayak recovery, and staying calm and effective in challenging situations. Suitable for paddlers looking to improve their safety, confidence, and preparedness on the water.

Date: August 26: 6pm - 8:30pm
Price: 50$ for SCC members.
Spots are limited, register on RAMP today!

UPCOMING TRIP: Looking to build your paddling fitness and confidence on the South Saskatchewan River?

Join us on Saturday, August 1 for a full-day return paddle from the Saskatoon Canoe Club to Furdale Beach. The trip is expected to take 6–7 hours, including breaks, with a challenging upstream paddle, a relaxing lunch and social stop at the beach, and an easy downstream return to the boathouse.

This trip is best suited to members with some paddling experience and a reasonable level of fitness, as the upstream section requires sustained effort. We’ll take regular breaks along the way to rest, hydrate and enjoy the river.

It’s a great opportunity to build endurance, upper-body strength and confidence on the water while enjoying a fun, social day with fellow club members.
