Hello everyone, the long awaited post is here.
Our approved indoor 2026/27 schedule for our fall/winter.
Please share with everyone and all dates are subject to changes.
We will notify every racers right away if there are any changes via FB group chat or page.

Below are the new dates for the fall/winter season.

Core racing classes:
Touring Stock (Roar 25.5T)
Touring Mod (Open mod)
Scale Spec (FT 21.5 No Outlawed motors)
FWD (Roar 21.5T)
Spec Tamiya (Recommended for Novice + Intermediates)
(Kit supplied brushed motor/ESC allowed or FT 21.5 brushless + Tamiya options only)

Option classes:
There will be no option classes this year unless there’s a shortage of FWD or Novice drivers. We will make changes to accommodate the most signed up class, racers can choose among yourselves prior race day. We only have so much time for all of us to enjoy in a day.

Tires:
FWD/Scale Spec/Spec Tamiya, all these classes to use Xpress Spec USGT tires.
(Last year was the final year for Gravity USGT tires)
Xpress Tires will be available @ OGR test and tuned day.
They will be marked for the season when you pick them up.

Touring Stock/Mod, all these classes to use Contact A30 Spec tires.
Tires will be available @ OGR test and tuned day.

Reserve your tires before race day so we will have them ready.

Official tire compound:
Only TDK V2 is allowed. If caught with other compound, you will be disqualified for the entire day. Applicator with no branding must be checked by RD prior usage.

Class Chassis Rules:
TC Mod/Stk –1300g + minimum 5mm ride height (NEW!!)
Scale Spec – 1350g + minimum 5mm ride height
Spec Tamiya – Tub chassis only + No weight limit + 5mm ride height
FWD – Any Chassis + 1250g + minimum 5mm ride height

Class Body Rules
TC Mod/Stk - Any touring Roar approved bodies
Scale Spec - Any GT Roar approved bodies
Spec Tamiya – Only Tamiya GT/Sedan bodies
FWD – Only FWD bodies

Batteries/rules:
Any brand hard case type.
Charging not to exceed 8.44V
Lipo Battery bag/case must be used at all times during charge

Cost per class:
1st class $45
2nd class $15
3rd class $5

Out of town racers.
$35 unlimited class. Whistler/Squamish/Chilliwack/Abbotsford/Kelowna/Kamloops/Washington/Victoria

Hope this will get everyone setup for the fall.
If anyone wants to help out early morning track set up. We are looking for volunteers.

Doors opens @ 6 am and we run till 5-5.30 pm for track tear down.
More volunteers for set up, we get to start earlier for extra practice track time.

Same for tear down after race program. We get to hang out after for dinner etc.

Club racing April 25th

Good evening racers,

Last Saturday marked our last race for the winter season.
Due to the low turn outs with good weather upon us, we decided to cancel May 2nd race.

OGR like to thank the morning crew for committing your time into this season. Thank you Cousins, Chuck De Belen, Darren Leung, Terence Chu, Samson Li, Curtis Wong, Stephen Wilke

Also thank you Simon Lee and Henry Yip for volunteering last Saturday morning set up. Without all of you, indoor racing scene would not be possible.

Special thanks goes out to John Tsang for taking racer’s lunch orders when he's racing with us. 😘

Last Saturday, we saw some memorable race moments during qualifying and the mains.

In Touring mod, we saw Mihai Gutuescu spur gear came flying out from his chassis and in FWD class, close racing all the way to finish. Good fun racing as always.

Club racing April 11th

Good evening racers,

What a great turn out yesterday.
It’s always great to see all of you making it to race with us.
Pretty laid back after a long break from March Madness.

OGR morning crew Cousins, Chuck De Belen, Darren Leung, Terence Chu, Curtis Wong, Stephen Wilke , thank you for your commitment setting up the track.

We still have cars with their race bodies not properly trimmed or raised as we encountered carpet tape being cut. Please come to see one of us if you are having trouble setting your race bodies correctly. We are happy to help you out.

Food for racers, thanks John Tsang for taking car of the BBQ lunch run. Hope you guys tipped him 😅

High lights from yesterday.
1.Josh Manalo & Austin Lee race to the finish line.
2.Mihai Gutuescu spectacular crash at the early sweeper going to the straight. We saw a very bright red car flying up in the air.
Both highlights in different classes.

We also saw some good close racing in every class that was ran yesterday. Keep up the good racing guys.

March Madness Race 2026

Hello,

Hope everyone is well rested and back to normal.
What a great turn out from all of you from last Saturday.
Thank you to those who had traveled far and attend this annual race.

I hope you had enjoyed the day racing as much as I did.
Congrats to all of the winners in all the classes.
