The goal of Red Deer Minor Football is to provide the opportunity for young people in our community to play and enjoy the game of Canadian football in a safe, encouraging and structured environment. We strive to make the football experience fun and enjoyable for the player and the player's family. Unlike most other minor sports that your child may participate in, Red Deer Minor Football provides e

ach player with the protective equipment that is needed to play football. We have worked very hard over the years and spent a great deal of money to supply each player with high quality equipment. What does this mean for you? It means that once you pay your registration fees there are no other expenses to participate other than a pair of new or used cleats. For the hours of practice and playing time that each player receives during the season, there is NO better value for minor sport in Red Deer than football. Red Deer Minor Football is a community based program that is governed by an Executive and Board. Everyone that serves on the Executive or Board is a volunteer. There are no paid positions in our organization. We are a grassroots organization that is driven by people in our community that are passionate about football and enriching our community by providing a positive minor sport program for the young people of Red Deer. Red Deer Minor Football manages all affairs of minor football in Red Deer specifically the P*e Wee and Atom divisions for players aged 8 thru 12. By teaching young people the game of football, we strive to instil an attitude of respect, humility and team work in every player that participates in Red Deer Minor Football. P*ewee fall camp kicks off next week with 3 practices - Tuesday-Thursday from 6:00 pm to 7:30 pm. No equipment needed, dress for the weather and bring your water bottle.

A huge thank you to all of our football families and players who participated in the Westerner Parade! Your enthusiasm, energy, and team spirit helped make the event a tremendous success.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to MGM Ford for their generous community support in providing the truck and drivers for the parade.

Finally, thank you to all of the football families who helped with the preparation and organization leading up to the event. Your hard work and dedication made the day possible.

Together, we showcased the strength of our football community and made this year's Westerner Parade a huge success!

Hello Football Family

This rain has sure put a damper on this spring season, weather is looking great for tomorrow evening!

Tomorrow we will start @ 6pm, kids will warm up and head right into game play. There will also be hot dogs and drinks for parents and siblings by donation. (Players and coaches eat for free)

U8 will eat at 7:15
U10 @ 7:30
U12 @ 7:45
U17 @ 7:45

I understand these times might nit be the best but it looks like tomorrow is our best bet with the break in this weather.

We will have draws for all groups, prize winners will be listed at the table closest to the shed doors.

That’s a Wrap on Spring Camp 2026!

What an incredible few weeks of football! Our Red Deer Atom and P*ewee Bucks teams officially wrapped up Spring Camp this past weekend, and we couldn't be prouder of the hard work, growth, and heart these players showed on the field.
