Norris GK Coaching is owned and operated by Goalkeeper Brendan Norris. Norris’ career began with Ottawa Fury (2009), Kingston FC (2010) and Ottawa South United (2011) before his career moved to England when he was invited to trial with various Premier and Championship league clubs such as Cardiff City, Blackburn FC and Manchester City FC. Signing with teams across the Southern Premier League and Ryman Premier League, Norris had the opportunity to playing in the FA cup, FA Trophy, Red Insure Cup and Hampshire Senior Cup Finals. During his 7-year career in England, Norris trained with Southampton FC and Reading FC regularly being exposed to professional goalkeeper training by top Premier and Championship league coaches. Norris GK Coaching aims to educate young aspiring soccer players, of all levels, in every component of the game. It is our goal to develop a strong technical foundation within our players in the areas of technique, effective decision making, and strength and conditioning. We focus on developing the whole athlete, equipping them with leadership skills that can manage the demands of the game and their teams, building resilience and confidence by training in a game realistic and challenging environment, and overall integrity as they set high goals and standards for themselves. At NGK Coaching all players will receive training from an experienced and knowledgeable goalkeeper coach, who not only was a previous player but who has a deep understanding of the demands of the position and how to overcome the unique challenges.
