This Saturday morning, join me on your mat in the comfort of your own home for an online AromaYin class. This is a yin yoga session paired with essential oil suggestions to leave you feeling rested, restored and inspired.

I’m raising money for the senior wolfdogs at Yamnuska Wolfdog Sanctuary because I have a special place in my heart for the seniors and I absolutely respect and want to honor the hard work that the owners and staff do to give these dogs a beautiful forever home.

Happy Thanksgiving 🍁 What a beautiful time of year to offer a moment of gratitude.

Not because everything is perfect, but because even in the messy, busy, uncertain seasons of life, there are little things worth pausing for.

A warm cup of tea. A deep breath. Someone who makes you laugh. A quiet moment to yourself. The people who remind you that you don’t have to do it all alone. 🤎

Today, I’m grateful for my family, friends and all clients and people in my in-person and online community—for every shared practice, heartfelt conversation, and opportunity to slow down together.

Whether your day is full of people or beautifully quiet, I hope you find a moment to notice something good—and let yourself receive it.

🌻Here are three things I’d do to turn an everyday pause into a little self-care ritual:

1️⃣Check in before choosing a scent.
Instead of asking, “Which oil should I use?” I’d ask, “What do I need right now?” A little comfort? A fresh start? Space to feel what I’ve been holding? Let your needs guide the ritual—not the other way around.

2️⃣Pair the aroma with one caring action.
I’d enjoy a scent I love alongside a gentle stretch, a few unhurried breaths, or a moment with my journal. The oil doesn’t have to do all the work. It can simply be a reminder to soften your shoulders, unclench your jaw, and give yourself some attention.

3️⃣Give the moment an intention.
I’d choose a few words to carry with me: “I can begin again.” “I don’t have to rush.” “There is room for how I feel.” Let the aroma become part of that moment—a sensory invitation to reconnect.

To me, that’s where the magic lives: not in fixing ourselves, but in making space to care for ourselves. One small, intentional moment at a time. 🤍🧘‍♀️💗🙏🧡🌼
