Some words stay with you. ❤️

The feedback.
The honest reviews.
The messages.
The shared victories.
The vulnerable struggles.
The “I almost didn’t come today, but I’m so glad I did.”

These words matter more than you know.

They help shape how I teach, how I lead, and how I continue to grow and evolve—not only as an instructor, but as a woman walking her own health journey.

As a prophylactic double mastectomy previvor, I’ve experienced firsthand what it feels like to navigate fear, uncertainty, healing, and rebuilding trust in my body. I’ve also spent years longing for a community where movement was more than exercise—a place where women could show up exactly as they are, feel supported, and lift one another up.

Every conversation, every success story, every challenge shared, and every piece of feedback helps me better understand the women I serve and reminds me why this work matters so deeply.

Circle Studio was built on the belief that movement can be a catalyst for confidence, healing, connection, and strength—not just physically, but mentally and emotionally too.

So thank you.

Thank you for trusting me with your stories.
Thank you for sharing your wins.
Thank you for being honest about the hard days.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of your journey.

Your words have helped build this community into what it is today, and I couldn’t be more grateful. 🤍

Because at the heart of it all, this has never just been about Pilates.

It’s always been about people. ✨

….I then act completely surprised when everyone is sweating, shaking, making questionable facial expressions, and re-evaluating every life choice that led them to my class.
While …I’m cheerfully reminding you to “breathe.”

Can any of my Circle Studio crew relate?

On Friday, I hosted my very first Perimenopause & Pilates Reset Experience, and honestly, I left feeling so inspired.

For 2.5 hours, seven incredible women gathered together to move, breathe, learn, share, and connect.

We started with movement and Pilates, focusing on slowing down, connecting to our breath, and helping shift the nervous system out of that constant sympathetic “fight or flight” state and into a more parasympathetic state of rest, recovery, and regulation.

We moved our bodies.
We connected mind and body.
We breathed.
We slowed down.

And then we sat down together and dove into conversation and education around all things perimenopause, hormones, symptoms, lifestyle, and the realities of navigating this season of life.

The questions, the stories, the shared experiences, the laughter, the “me too” moments, and the openness in the room were truly incredible.

One thing I’ve learned through both my own perimenopause journey and my work with women is this:

There is so much power in realizing you’re not going through it alone.

So many women are experiencing similar struggles, asking similar questions, and wondering if what they’re feeling is “normal.”

The truth is, we need more spaces where women can come together, move, learn, feel seen, and have honest conversations.

Friday night reminded me just how important those spaces are. 💜

And if I’m being honest, I can absolutely see myself leading more of these workshops in the future because I’m walking this journey right alongside you.

If a future Perimenopause & Pilates Reset Experience is something you’d be interested in attending, comment “RESET” below or send me a message.

And if you have a group of women, workplace, organization, or community that would be interested in hosting a workshop like this, I’d love to connect. Let’s start the conversation and create more opportunities for women to gather, learn, move, and support one another through this season of life. 🌿✨

This. Is. My. Life. 😂

You finally get back into a great routine.

✅ You’re making your Pilates classes.
✅ Drinking your water.
✅ Getting your steps in.
✅ Meal prepping.
✅ Feeling stronger.
✅ Energy is improving.

And then your body says…

“Wow, Brigitte. I see you’re really thriving. It would be a shame if…”

👉 a kid brought home the latest school virus.

👉 someone woke up at 3:00 AM and forgot how sleep works.

👉 you slept slightly crooked and now can’t turn your neck.

👉 perimenopause decided this was the week for anxiety, night sweats, brain fog, and random rage.

👉 your schedule exploded with baseball, work, appointments, and life.

And before anyone thinks Pilates instructors have somehow unlocked immunity to any of this…

I can assure you we have not. 😂

As the lead instructor, holistic nutritionist, perimenopause coach, business owner, and mom, I am just as likely to get derailed by a sick kid, a terrible night’s sleep, a hormone-fueled week, or life throwing a curveball as anyone else.

Honestly, sometimes wellness isn’t about having the perfect routine.

Sometimes it’s about surviving the chaos, giving yourself grace, and starting again tomorrow.

Because real life isn’t a straight line.

And if you’re a woman, a mom, caregiver, a business owner, navigating perimenopause, and trying to take care of everyone else, nodding your head as you read this ….

you know exactly what I’m talking about. 😂🙋‍♀️

Please tell me I’m not the only one whose body sees consistency as a personal challenge.

👇 Which one can you relate to most?

A. The school virus 🤧

B. The 3:00 AM wake-up calls 😴

C. The mysterious neck/back injury from sleeping 😅

D. The perimenopause plot twist 🔥

E. The overflowing calendar of chaos 📅

F. All of the above 🙋‍♀️😂

There’s something special that happens when nature and movement meet. 🌾🤍

Our hope has always been that this little corner of the farm becomes more than just a place to exercise.

A place where you can turn down the noise of everyday life.

Where the moment you drive down the gravel laneway, you feel your shoulders soften.

Where you hear the birds singing, feel the country breeze on your skin, take in the open fields, and remember what it feels like to simply breathe.

Then, stepping into our cozy Pilates cabin, you give yourself something many women struggle to find—an hour that is just for you.

An hour to move.An hour to breathe. An hour to reconnect your mind and body.An hour to listen to what your body needs instead of what the world is asking of you.

Over the last few months, we have welcomed so many new faces into our little studio, and every single one of you has become part of what makes this place so special.

We are incredibly honoured that so many of you have chosen Circle Studio as your safe space—a place where you prioritize your health, your self-care, your strength, and your connection to yourself.

Thank you for trusting us with that hour of your day.

Whether you’re here for the movement, the community, the fresh air, the country drive, the quiet, or simply a moment to yourself, we’re so grateful you’ve found your way down our gravel road.

This little Pilates cabin on the farm has become something we could have only dreamed of, and it’s because of all of you. 🤍🌾
