Did you know you should perform a yearly check up on your Sensation Ride™ Saddle❓ 🔎

Our saddles have an excellent reputation for durability, so with annual inspections & maintenance you will help extend the life of your saddle & keep your ride comfortable. Here are a few things we recommend checking on an annual basis:

✅ Cantle: If your cantle is starting to feel less supportive, you can re-stuff the cantle through the opening in the front of the cantle by adding more stuffing.
✅ Panels: Open the underside of your saddle by separating the two sides at the gullet & feel the felt or foam panels. If they are feeling like they don’t have a lot of “give” or rebound, it may be time to replace them. Typically panels need replacing every 3-5 years.
✅ Stirrup Leathers: The Multi-point attachment stirrup leathers that come with your saddle should be inspected regularly for hole wear - as with any saddle.
✅ Billet Straps: Monitor the wear of your billet straps, just as with any other saddle. Condition the billet straps lightly and frequently.

"Finding a saddle for a 13.3h mule with a short back is a challenge. After much research and many trials I tried a sensation. Leah Elliot is the bomb! She helped and guided in so many positive ways to make choices for my needs. I love this saddle. I’m 5’8” and 175 # on a short mule. This saddle offers stability on a small profile. It doesn’t interfere with her movement (she would be overtly annoyed when saddles poke her). For me, it’s secure and comfortable and a treat to ride all day in. I thought I wanted a more dressage trail style. Turns out, the tall pommel with the insert was a better choice. And the chinook gives me more room to move without interfering with posting or reaching over to give treats. As a bonus, you can design it with fun stuff." - Debbie
