It’s been forever since I posted! It was a busy summer, and things are just beginning to calm down now. I’m looking forward to the season of relaxation, change, and working toward my goals! 🤍

We recently got to enjoy a whole weekend together at a local music festival which was fun! I’m looking forward to more weekends of leisure 🍂

It is week 5 of the Best Body Challenge! Each week we have been focusing on a different habit, and this week we are adding in breath work. It is helpful for all kinds of things including calming anxiety, stress, falling asleep, relaxation, and also for exercise of course! 🫁

If you have never tried breath work, I would definitely recommend it! An easy one to start with is box breathing (breathe out 4 seconds, hold 4 seconds, breathe in 4 seconds, hold 4 seconds and repeat!)🌬️

Are you struggling to reach your health & fitness goals? 🔍

The network of connections between the brain and body are so often overlooked in the fitness industry. Factors that could be preventing you from reaching your goals might be things you haven’t even considered. The way our body functions and performs is dictated by a huge list of components. Physical ones such as hormones, sleep, nutrition, activity level and type will affect your results. But also things like trauma, perceived stress, relationships, state of mind, mental health, etc can have a huge impact!

With my clients I always look at health and fitness from a holistic lens, addressing factors beyond the workouts to ensure quality of life, optimal health and amazing fitness results! 🤍
