West Coast swing dancing! 🥳💃🕺

The 1st, 3rd, and (most) 5th Fridays of every month (except April 30, 2027) will be West Coast swing dancing at the Wellington Hall in Nanaimo! Join us for amazing lessons from top-notch instructors, made for all levels!

Lesson from 7-8pm with social dancing until 10pm! 💃🕺💃🕺

*except September 4, 2026 as it’s a 2 hour lesson and it starts at 6:30pm.

Dance Nanaimo (aka Nanaimo Area Social Dance Society), is having their Annual General Meeting and BBQ on Friday August 7th at a private home.

We're sad to share that Chris Carew passed away yesterday. Chris was a regular at the Nanaimo WCS classes and socials, and was very helpful in bringing the best teachers on the Island to Nanaimo. He enriched the WCS dance community and will be missed.
