MEW envoie tout son amour et sa lumière à la famille Leduc aujourd’hui, particulièrement à Carl, avec qui nous avons eu le plaisir de travailler en coulisses lors de nos derniers événements.
En 1999, dans le sous-sol d’une église lors d’un gala de la FLQ, j’ai rencontré Carl Leduc et immédiatement reconnu en lui la même passion que mon frère Mike et moi avions pour la lutte professionnelle. J’en ai vite compris l’origine en discutant avec son père. À une époque où l’histoire de la lutte québécoise n’était pas accessible en quelques clics, il fallait parler à ceux qui l’avaient vécue.
Paul Leduc a marqué plusieurs générations de lutteurs au Québec. Nous le remercions pour son immense contribution.

In 1999, in a church basement at an FLQ wrestling show, I met Carl Leduc and immediately recognized the same passion for professional wrestling that my brother Mike and I shared. I quickly understood where it came from after speaking with his father. At a time when Quebec wrestling history wasn’t available with a few clicks, you had to speak with the people who lived it.
Paul Leduc impacted generations of wrestlers across Quebec. We thank him for his immense contribution.
