On September 30th, the Centennials honored the survivors of residential schools, their families, and the children who never made it home.
We are grateful to Tim Manuel, Issac Manuel, Rene Lamothe, Gilbert Mike, Raven Sheena, and Amanda Lamothe for leading the circle and sharing their powerful messages.
As a hockey community, we believe that every young person deserves to feel safe, valued, and welcome- both on and off the ice. We encourage our players, coaches, and families to listen to indigenous voices, learn about our shared history, and commit to actions that bring us closer together.
We listen. We learn. We remember.
