Cost for Programs: Tiny Tots $410.00
Learn to Skate $420.00
Adult Skate $420.00
Jr/Sr $605.00.
Method of Payment: Cash or Cheque. Registration Fees must be paid at the time of registering. Registration Fees may be paid in 2 installments by posted-dated cheques: 1/2 due at registration and the balance due January 4/27. Cheques are payable to Long Sault Skating Club. We are pleased to offer a family discount again this season. First (highest) registration pays full price: second( subsequent) registration deduct 10% off each registration.

All Programs are 25 weeks long.
The first of Skating is on Monday September 21st 2026, and the last night of Skating is on Monday March 29th 2027. Programs are every Mondays.

Equipment Required: Skates, a CSA Hockey Helmet with a Cage, snow pant or splash pants, winter jacket, mittens or hockey gloves.

Program We Offer:
TINY TOT is a 30 minute program designed for Children Ages 3-6 who have never skated before, or very little Skating ability. Skaters will focus on learning to get up from the ice, Skating forwards, backwards, turning, and stopping. Hockey Helmet with a cage must be worn at all times.

LEARN TO SKATE is a 50 minute program which is a Skater development badge program. Hockey Helmet with a cage must be worn until Level 6.

ADULT SKATE is a 50 minute program designed specifically for Adults who want to build strong Skating fundamentals before stepping into a recreational or league program. Skaters will develop proper techniques such as balance, and edge control to create a solid foundation for confident efficient movement on the ice.

JR/SR is a 90 minute program designed for test stream Skaters. Group lessons are not provided. Private lessons must be arranged by Skaters or their Parents.

GUEST SKATING: Cost is $25.00 from 7:00pm-8:20 pm. Fees must be paid prior to before going on the ice.

Long Sault Skating Club Rules
These rules are standard in all Clubs and designed with safety in mind to help ensure that no one get hurts.
1. Persons who are not wearing Skates are
PROHIBITED from walking on the ice.
2. No Eating or Chewing gum on the ice.
3. No pop cans, pop bottles, juice boxes etc. Allowed on the side of the boards. Only water bottles, are allowed on the side of the boards.
4. Watch out for other Skaters at all times.
5. When you fall, DO NOT SIT OR LAY ON THE ICE UNLESS INJURED.
6. Sitting on the ice is not allowed. Please use the penalty box or dressing room when re-tying your Skates.
7. APPROPRIATE CONDUCT AND LANGUAGE IS IMPERATIVE AT ALL TIMES. Example: Kicking the ice or failure to follow instructions etc. You will be asked to leave the ice.
8 RESPECT towards all Coaches, fellow Skaters and Executive Members.
We are confident that all Skaters will practice the above rules and etiquette to ensure a great season.
