COACHES ANNOUNCEMENT | U12 GIRLS BLUE
We’re excited to officially introduce the coaching staff for our U12 Girls Blue team, Head Coach Ashley McLeod and Assistant Coach Teagan Shurtz.
HEAD COACH | ASHLEY MCLEOD
Sports have been a huge part of Ashley’s life for as long as she can remember. As a former high school volleyball player, she loves sharing that same passion through coaching. Over the years, she has enjoyed coaching junior high sports across multiple schools while also cheering on her own daughters in their athletic journeys. Coaching the U12 Blue team last season was such a rewarding experience, and she is excited to keep building on that momentum. Ashley’s goal is always to create a positive, fun space where athletes can grow their skills, work together, and fall in love with the game.
ASSISTANT COACH | TEAGAN SHURTZ
Teagan has been playing volleyball since high school and, as she says, apparently just never stopped. She still plays on two city league teams and has been coaching high school volleyball for the past four years. She loves the game and is excited to help the girls build their skills, confidence, and hopefully have a lot of fun along the way. When she’s not in the gym coaching or playing volleyball, Teagan is a high school math teacher and a mom of three. She is excited to be part of the team and can’t wait for a great season.
We’re excited to have Ashley and Teagan leading the way this season and can’t wait to see this team grow on and off the court.
