We had 69 golfers out this week for Ladies League! It was wonderful to see the sunshine return after the rainy weather earlier in the day.

💰 Skins
We have had a couple of non-payments for skins recently. Please remember to put your $2 toonie into the skins bin at the clubhouse each week.
A total of $134 was collected for skins this week. Winners will have their payouts credited to their Red Sands account and can claim their winnings at the clubhouse at any time.

Please ensure that both your first and last name are clearly written on your scorecard so you remain eligible for any winnings.

📌 Friendly Reminders
As our Ladies League operates on an honour system:
No mulligans are permitted during Ladies League play.
There are no "gimme" putts—please finish all putts and record every stroke.
Play your ball as it lies unless otherwise permitted under Red Sands Golf Course rules (printed on your score card).
If you take a drop, add one penalty stroke for the drop and count your next swing as an additional stroke.
"Red Sands Ladies League points system" Double eagle = 6, eagle = 5, birdie = 4, par = 3, Bogey = 2, double bogey = 1.
There are no points for additional strokes, but make sure you record them as you may win some random hole skins money!

We appreciate every golfer who joins us each week and are especially excited to welcome new faces to our Tuesday nights!

🏌️‍♀️ Ladies League Reminders
You must play with another person during Ladies League. If your playing partner is not participating in the league, your scorecard must be signed to verify your score.

If you are entering skins, please mark on your scorecard that you have paid your $2 skins fee ($2 Paid). Unmarked entries will not be eligible for skins payouts.

Please print names (first and last) and scores clearly on all scorecards.
There is an 8-shot maximum per hole to help keep play moving at a reasonable pace.

The Ladies League Board has some fun activities planned throughout the summer! To participate, please sign up at the clubhouse and pay your $20 registration fee.

We have a "Ladies Birdie Tree" posted on the clubhouse bulletin board. If you get a birdie, please add your name, the date, and which hole you scored it on, for a chance to win some prizes at our ladies socials!

If you wish to not have your scores posted, please write "Non-competitive" on your score card.
