⛸️ The 2026–27 season is almost here!

Our coaches and Program Assistants were together this week for their annual training sessions, preparing for another great season at HSC.

First sessions begin this week:
• Junior Academy: Tuesday, September 8
• Thursday CanSkate: September 10
• Sunday CanSkate & Pre-CanSkate: September 13

📩 Skater welcome packages will also be sent out this week.

Before heading to the rink, please check your online calendar for your most up-to-date session dates and times.

You can also find our 2026–27 program brochure on the HSC website with program dates, times and other important season information.
Please make a habit of checking the website regularly to stay up to date throughout the season.

⭐ HALIFAX, GET READY. ⭐
This September, Ekaterina Gordeeva and Violetta Afanasieva are coming to Halifax for a two-day seminar built around high-level training, creativity and fun on the ice.

The seminar experience includes jump technique, field moves, off-ice class, pair experience, program components and artistic fun on ice, with groups available from STAR 1 and up.

📍 Greenfoot Energy Centre, Bedford
📅 September 25 & 26

REGISTRATION OPENS:
HSC Home Club: September 1 at 10 AM
BSC Home Club: September 7 at 10 AM
All Other Clubs: September 11 at 10 AM

Space is limited. Full schedules will be shared once groups are confirmed.

This is going to be a special weekend for skaters who want to learn, push themselves and experience something a little different.

This weekend some of our skaters got to show off what they have been working on this summer at the 2026 PEI Summer Invitational. 🦞🌊🏝️

We want to congratulate all of our skaters, as well as skaters from Bedford Skating Club who also competed!

Now we finish off summer skating strong with the Kindness Cup week and Star 6+ assessment day on Thursday⛸️

Summer Performance Day! ⛸️

Today wrapped up Week 4 - with Performance Day for everyone!

It was a chance for our skaters to show friends and family what they’ve been working on over the past few weeks and perform their programs before the competition season begins.

Can’t wait to see everyone on PEI next weekend! 💙
