Stepping into the ring with the home team was like adding an extra opponent - and I'm not just talking about the girl from the other gym. As a coach, I always warn my team about two foes: the ref and the other fighter. But yesterday? Forget about it, we faced a whole army. The ref, the fighter, and basically the entire London crew were against Guelph, including one judge who seemed to be practicing their ninja skills with the blind eye technique. Yet, we didn't back down. Oh no, we doubled down. From start to finish, we owned the ring with every move and punch . We took on London and left the crowd stunned silent - literally, you could hear a pin drop, or rather, a punch land. Huge congrats to our coach Dana on her win, and trust me, it was
