The question is not only which trauma therapy works.
The more important question may be why it works when it does.
Andrew Huberman examined approaches such as prolonged exposure therapy and cognitive behavioural therapy at a high academic level. I want to examine the mechanisms and the sequence operating inside those modalities.
What specific therapeutic syntax may produce high efficacy and low recurrence?
I am not an academic, and I do not have access to the research resources Andrew does. I would genuinely welcome the opportunity to work with him and study these mechanisms.
Based on the current research and what I have observed in practice, I believe this is where trauma treatment is going next.
The modality matters, but the mechanisms inside it may matter even more.
