UNB REDS

UNB REDS UNB REDS – Champions of Academic and Athletic Excellence. UNB has been producing champions for over 100 years.

The REDS program is known for its rich tradition and its “championship habits”, and is a source of pride for our university and alumni. Because UNB is a national-level university, we have purposely chosen to measure our success against the best in Canada. We have deep roots in the communities which support us. We strive for both academic and athletic excellence, and we prepare our graduates to be leaders.

Along with his MNT duties, Joe continues to serve as an assistant with UNB’s men’s team!

Congratulations to Dr. Joanne MacLean, honoured recently by U SPORTS with their Austin-Matthews Award for outstanding long-term commitment to university sport as an administrator or director.
Dr. MacLean was a long-serving women’s basketball coach at the Univ. of Windsor and later president of the Univ. of the Fraser Valley.
Before all of that, she was a decorated student-athlete in both field hockey and basketball here at UNB, named top all-round student-athlete in 1981 and top female athlete in 1982.
