The idea for the University of New Brunswick Elite Volleyball Training Centre came about from talks with Volleyball Canada about the Volleyball Canada Centre of Excellence (VCCE), which is currently spreading across the country. Volleyball Canada has studied what it takes to become a high-performance athlete and has found Canadian High school students are falling short by, on average, 100 hours of

Volleyball is prospering in Fredericton and New Brunswick, and in order to give our athletes the best chance at reaching their potential and keeping up with the rest of Canada, we need to compete with those across the country looking for roster spots in the CIS and CCAA. Each Athlete will receive a UNB EVTC training T-Shirt upon selection into program. As well as a UNB Varsity Reds season pass, which includes Volleyball, soccer, swimming, basketball and hockey.
