Wednesday is RACE night! Make sure to register online. And help out with any volunteer positions. It’s greatly appreciated.
Thursday track is closed, Race Team is practising in St.albert

Saturday is the big Canadian nationals! Be sure to follow St.albert social media to get all your up-to-date post. Make sure to pre-register for this race before Friday!

The biggest BMX weekend of the season is coming to St. Albert BMX

If you’re planning to race, now is the time to get registered and start preparing for an incredible weekend of racing against riders from across the country!

🚨 IMPORTANT — TRANSPONDERS ARE MANDATORY

Transponder timing is required for this event.

• One transponder is required for each bike being raced.
• Riders racing two classes on the same bike only require one transponder.
• Riders using separate 20” and Cruiser bikes will require two transponders.
• Rentals are available for riders who need one.

🚴 OPEN TRACK — AUGUST 24–26

Championship Open Track: 6:00–7:00 PM
Novice/Intermediate Open Track: 7:00–8:00 PM
Expert Open Track: 8:00–9:00 PM

Please note that coaches are not permitted on the track during open-track sessions.

🏁 RACE WEEK SCHEDULE

Thursday: Registration, rider check-in, package pickup and open track begin at 5:00 PM.

Friday: Registration, rider check-in and package pickup begin at 3:00 PM, along with official practice throughout the afternoon and evening.

Saturday & Sunday: Official practice begins at 8:00 AM, with times divided by age and race category.

Monday - Novice Practice 5:30-6:30; Intermediate and Expert Practice 6:30-8pm
Tuesday - Open Track 6-7:30pm
Wednesday - Race Night in Edmonton - strider race 6:45pm
Thursday - Race Team Practice 6-7:30pm
Saturday & Sunday - Airdrie Provincial #7&8 and Canada Cup 7&8

Our track runs on pedal power and volunteer hours! Please check out our weekly form to sign up for upcoming weeknight races and open tracks.

No experience is necessary, the roles are easy, and you’ll get a fantastic view of the riders. Plus, every shift counts toward your 20 volunteer credits.
