Clinton Raceway Be Here - Beyond the Race
Welcome to Huron County's only harness race track. Situated in the Clinton Community Park we race Sunday afternoons at 1:30pm.

An all ages, family friendly facility with concession and licensed area. Season opens May 31, 2026 Extended meet started by the Clinton Kinsmen in 1970 with the introduction of Pari-Mutuel Wagering. In 1983, after much dedication, and hard work the Clinton Kinsmen the decision was made to turn the reins over to a board of directors, and in March of 1983 Clinton Raceway Inc was formed, a non profit

organization. Since then, live racing has continued to thrive in the small community, with an average of 15 live dates a year, Clinton is the heart of harness racing from May - September with a live race post time of 1:30pm

Clinton Raceway is committed to helping local group, clubs and associations by holding fundraising events at the track. We welcome all non profit organizations to get in touch with us to discuss how we can help. Being a non profit organization, Clinton Raceway injects all of it's profits back into the industry, through fundraising, wages, promotions, purses and infrastructure etc.

Kick off race day with our Pre-Race Patio Party featuring live music, the Driver’s Challenge Challenge & a Driver Meet & Greet!

Well. That was one wild wiener day!

It was rainy, muddy and just overall not the best day - however, these short legged, heart warming puppers gave it their all in our annual wiener dog races!

We hit the track earlier than anticipated - ran two quick heats and right into the final. To say it was chaotic was an understatement at best.

Thank you to ALL the dedicated owners for braving the elements, the fans for showing up, and to our event sponsor Sandy Paws for the treats!

The heats are set. The Wieners have been training. We just need the roar of the crowd to cheer them on! Join us for the .bayfield annual Wiener Dog Races. Two heats will hit the track immediately following race 5 with a final after the 8th.

We'd really like to have two heats of 6 puppers! We need just one more wiener (we had a last minute drop out!) to fill the field.

Because we had to reschedule our event from August 2 - we're down a few wieners...

Registration is $50 - you get a great welcome bag with something for you and the puppers! The chance at the title of wiener dog champion - huge basket valued at $100 for the winner and lots of fun!
