COWBOYS SIGN BRAYDAN KOPEC

The Claresholm Cowboys are proud to announce the signing of 2009-born F Braydan Kopec for the upcoming season.

Kopec was with the organization last season and made an immediate impact whenever he suited up, bringing energy, consistency, and a physical presence to our lineup. He has the ability to find the back of the net and isn’t afraid to throw his body around.

A highly talented football and lacrosse player, Kopec brings a strong level of athleticism and competitiveness to the ice. After previously playing defence, he will be transitioning to forward this season, giving him an exciting opportunity to continue developing his game in a new role.

“Kopec played with us last season and, in the games he suited up for, he brought energy and consistency to our lineup. He can score goals and throw his body around. He is also a highly talented football and lacrosse player, which shows the level of athleticism he brings. He was previously a defenceman and is now transitioning to forward, so I’m excited for the opportunity to work with him.”

🤠 COWBOYS SIGN MARKUS HANCOCK

The Claresholm Cowboys are happy to announce that we have come to terms with F Markus Hancock for the upcoming season.

Markus suited up for the Cowboys in several games last season and made an immediate impact, showing exactly what he is capable of at this level.

“We have a great relationship with Markus and his family. He was able to play in some games for us last season and he dominated. I’m expecting him to be a major threat this season. Markus will be back and forth with us and the Bow Valley Bigfoot U-18 JPHL team, which I’m very happy to have a working relationship with. Overall, this is a massive signing for our organization.”

Billeting is more than providing a spare room. It’s giving a young athlete a safe, welcoming home away from home while they pursue their goals in junior hockey.

Our billet families become an important part of the Cowboys community and an even bigger part of a player’s season.

CLARESHOLM, IT’S TIME. 🤠

Last season, we fell just short.

That feeling never left us. We carried that hunger through the entire offseason, using it as fuel to get better, stronger, and more prepared for what’s ahead.

Now, we’re back.

New team. Same vision. Same standard. Same goal.

The work is done. The time for talking is over.

Claresholm — it’s time to show the league what we’re made of.
