The way we train off the ice as hockey players has a profound impact on how we show on the ice. The transformation that has made in his on-ice speed, leg power, and conditioning from April to August has been very noticeable, as a result of changing the way he trained and making a commitment to this program. He made a change in where he chose to train, and put his trust in what we have been delivering to the area’s top hockey players for the last 15 years. The result? His first career JR A game - hat trick. His second game - game winning goal. His third game - earned him a call-up to make his OHL debut tonight with the .

Before he started at , I was told he was too heavy, his feet were too slow, and he was not conditioned. After a five month off-season, his dad said “he has drastically improved since last season”. That wasn’t the result of more skill work and “power skating” - that was the result of incorporating a program that transformed his body into a more athletic version of himself, and that transferred his work to the game of hockey.
At this point in a player’s development, it’s not so much about working harder - it’s about working smarter so the work you do actually transfers to improved on-ice performance.
