💙 Disciple BJJ’s newest member made his entrance into the world this week! Please be kind with the wrist locks and heel hooks, Jonah is still learning.

A HUGE thank you to Coach Markell and Coach Chris ._ for covering the bulk of classes, and to anyone else that helps out, so that David can take some time off to adjust to life with a new family member! David plans to be back teaching in a week or so and will be in and out over the next week when he can - each day is different and we weren’t expecting Rebecca to be recovering from surgery.

‼️ Ladies classes on Mondays will be cancelled for the time being. We will post an update when we can!

Saturday’s 2nd Annual In-house Quintet was awesome. Tons of good match ups, the best 2 out of 3/round robin style was a good choice we think!

Congrats to the “Bendy Bunch” on their win, we can’t wait to see the rashguard you come up with 👀

To “Waste Management” - you gave us a lot of good matches to spectate, and bonus style points for the excellent memes and reels leading up to the event 😉

Congrats to our kids team “W”, you also had very entertaining matches!!!

*EXTENDED INTO 2026*

—> Because we are striving to grow our younger kids program, we are offering a free 30 minute private session (~$50 value) for any new kids (ages 4-8) wanting to try BJJ. This is in addition to the free week trial and will be booked prior to your child starting their free week of classes.

The 4-8 year old’s class schedule is as follows:
Tuesday & Thursday at 3:45pm
Friday (Competition class, once more experienced) at 3:30pm

We find this to be the hardest age group to introduce to such a close contact sport like jiu jitsu, even though it is so beneficial for their confidence and building social skills/respect amongst their peers! We have a great group of kids in this class already that would love to have more training partners.

If you have a child you’ve considered putting into a martial art, this is a great way to get started! Message or e-mail us for any questions/to book.

*If you and your child are both wanting to give BJJ a try, you can definitely join in instead of sitting on the sidelines!*
