✈️🐴 CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!

The first of two Spruce Meadows-chartered Boeing 747s has officially touched down at YYC! 🇨🇦

On board were 50 champion horses, including Richard Vogel’s (GER) United Touch S and defending CPKC ‘International’, presented by Rolex, champion Scott Brash’s (GBR) Hello Jefferson. 🏆

And the special cargo? 👀
🌷 2+ tonnes of fresh Dutch flowers
🏆 The Rolex Grand Slam Trophy
🐴 Some of the world’s best equine athletes

The horses are now settling in at Spruce Meadows, with a second charter arriving later this weekend — bringing 100+ horses to Calgary for the 2026 ‘Masters’!

London to Calgary. This one is big. 🇬🇧

His Majesty’s Band of the Welsh Guards is flying across the Atlantic for the ‘Masters’.

The same Band whose official duties include the Changing of the Guard at Buckingham Palace will perform live at Spruce Meadows throughout the week.

Then Friday night: the International Ring, the Welsh Guards playing live and fireworks overhead for TELUS Evening of the Horse.

A London tradition, brought all the way to Calgary for the ‘Masters’.

On Friday night, the Ch*****ne Garden shifts into an 18+ date-night party, with a DJ, a welcome drink, light bites, cash bar and the International Ring right in front of you.

On Sunday, September 13, he enters the CPKC ‘International’, presented by Rolex, one victory away from completing the Rolex Grand Slam of Show Jumping.

Win here, and he becomes only the second rider in history to complete it, and the second to do so at Spruce Meadows.

And the competition he has to win? A $5 million Grand Prix with the largest prize purse offered for a single show jumping competition, again understood to be the biggest single-day sporting event payout in Canada this year.
