🚧 Scotia Place Construction Update 🚧

Momentum on site this month 🏗️
✅ Major structural steel progress continues, with two roof trusses now in place in the SW corner and steel climbing on the north side for the upper bowl, food hall and the flagship retail store.
✅ Exterior framing and drywall continue along the South side, moving west above the Indoor Plaza and restaurants
✅ Concrete pours continue, including the loading dock and exterior parkade walls

Plenty more progress ahead, stay tuned 👀

Major Construction Milestone for Scotia Place 🚧 presented by

The roof is officially going up as the building begins to close in 🏗️ The first of four mega trusses is now in place, marking a huge step forward made possible by months of planning and teamwork.

Designed for flexibility, the roof will support concert rigging and a retractable scoreboard, enhancing the fan experience from every seat.

As the weather warms up, so does the momentum on site ☀️

February delivered strong progress across the Scotia Place site 🔥

✅ Continued exterior framing and paneling across the site
✅ Expanded steel installation on the west side restaurants and started the indoor plaza entrance
✅Installed precast concrete seating in the upper bowl, with the south side now complete from the first to last row
✅ Installed temporary tower support for the first roof truss

Major interior progress as the fan experience starts to come to life. 🔨
✔️ Indoor plaza structure taking shape
✔️ Seamless access from premium spaces directly to bowl seating
✔️ Calgary Flames dressing room build-out in progress, including therapy, treatment, and team spaces
✔️ Suites level progress between the lower and upper bowl

With interior systems moving quickly, these spaces are on their way to becoming vibrant restaurants, premium lounges, and unforgettable game-day experiences 🤩

A new year brings major progress on site as the arena really starts to take shape. 🔨
✔️ Structural steel reveals the overall shape of the arena
✔️ Precast forming the inner bowl, including walls, floors, and seating areas
✔️ Thousands of precast pieces delivered efficiently from Central Alberta supporting this schedule-critical work

With structural steel continuing and the building envelope and roof coming next, interior work will continue to progress throughout the year, bringing the fan experience closer to reality 🤩

Despite cold, windy winter conditions outside, construction continues on schedule inside. 🔨

✔️The second tier of steel is officially up (highest point of the building)
✔️Upper concourse poured out
✔️ Mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sheet metal rough-ins underway
✔️ Wall construction started on the lower levels

You can now stand on every level of the building and truly get a sense of the fan experience for games and concerts coming to life 🤩

🚧November Construction Update is in! 🚧 Presented by CANA Group of Companies

Concrete has reached new zones across the NW main concourse and the NW mezzanine, plus the SW restaurant area is officially underway. Steel is rising on the south concourse, and installation of the metal deck has begun on the suite level, gearing up for upcoming concrete pours.

Every beam and every pour brings us closer to a next-level experience for Flames fans, concerts, and community events. 🏒🎉
