Calgary's first and only dance studio dedicated to educating and promoting street dance and Hip Hop culture. We offer recreational classes for kids as young as 3, teens, and adults at various levels. From Breaking, Dancehall, Locking, Popping, and Hip Hop to Choreography, West African, and House - there's an exciting and fun class for just about everyone. We are also very active on the local level

hosting community events such as battles, parties, jams, and other ways to see some amazing dancing and meet new people.

For 15 years, Beast Machine has been the heartbeat of our youth community. This party is a celebration of every single dancer who has trained with us, repped the crew and helped build this legacy. We’ve invited our current Beasts and our incredible alumni to get together, session, connect and celebrate!

This may be a closed event, but is only one piece of our biggest weekend of the year. Everyone’s welcome to join us for the following events:

Heels Advanced Pop Ups with Veronika ‼️

We are so excited to announce our second 3-week pop-up series with

Veronika is a dancer and choreographer based in Calgary. Having spent the last seven years working at Pulse, she has had the opportunity to work with dancers of all ages and levels within the community. With training in both Streetdance styles and heels, Veronika’s approach to choreography, teaching and performing is heavily influenced by her evolving Streetdance foundation.

WHAT A SOULFUL NIGHT ✨

A heartfelt thank you to Mikhail “Venom” for sharing his knowledge, energy and deep cultural insight with our community. 💚🤍🖤

This was more than a Dancehall class. It was an immersive cultural workshop rooted in history, intention, authenticity and connection. Through movement, Venom guided dancers beyond the steps, offering a deeper understanding of Dancehall’s foundations and significance.

We’re grateful to everyone who showed up ready to learn, listen, move and engage with the culture in a meaningful way. Experiences like these remind us that dance is not only about performance—it’s about community.

This ASIAN HERITAGE MONTH 🌏, we’re taking time to celebrate and honour the Asian dancers, instructors, students and creatives who continue to shape our space in PULSE and move the culture forward every day.

From foundations to freestyle, battles to classrooms, Asian artists have played a role in the global growth and evolution of streetdance culture. Their passion, discipline, creativity and love for the art continue to inspire generations across the world — including right here in our own community.

To our team, thank you for showing up as yourselves. Thank you for sharing your stories, your energy and your artistry with us. This month and every month, we celebrate the people behind the movement.

Starting May 25, we’re excited to have TRAVIS back teaching K-Pop Beginners for a limited time only 👀

If you’ve taken his previous K-Pop, Campbellocking or House classes before, you already know the energy he brings to the studio ⚡️ Expect fun choreo, good vibes and a class that’s beginner-friendly while still pushing you to grow and perform.
