FlexCare is built for Grades 1 through 9 and brings sports, health, wellness, education and practical life skills together under one roof.
🏀 Multi Sport Academy
Kids get the chance to experience basketball, soccer, team handball, boxing, baseball, volleyball, ball hockey, badminton, pickleball, dodgeball, fitness fundamentals and more.
🥗 Health Academy
We are helping kids understand healthy habits through topics like healthy lunches, sugar awareness, hydration, sleep, sports nutrition, mental health, healthy cooking and summer fitness.
🧠 Mental Wellness
Confidence, teamwork, leadership, emotional regulation, managing stress, gratitude, building friendships and developing a growth mindset are all part of the FlexCare experience. Activities can include mindfulness, journaling, yoga, breathing exercises and team challenges.
📚 Learning and Life Skills
Communication, public speaking, conflict resolution, volunteering, coaching younger athletes, first aid basics, money management, needs versus wants and digital money are just some of the skills we want kids to develop beyond the playing field.
And there is even more coming this fall! 🍂
October will feature our “Discover Your Sport” programming, school visits, teacher outreach, a free week, a Multi Sport Festival planned for October 10 or 17, a Pumpkin Fun Run on October 31 and a Healthy Halloween Workshop.
November will continue with a STEM Challenge Day, a guest scientist and a nutrition workshop, with new health, wellness, sport and educational programming continuing throughout the year.
FlexCare is about more than keeping kids busy. It is about giving them a place to move, learn, explore new interests, make friends and build skills they can carry with them long after they leave the gym.
