A big thanks to the instructors and students who made the RallyWest Co-Driver School a big sucess. Kudos to the Calgary Sports Car Club for providing a great learning environment! Saturday was spent in the classroom learning theory, and Sunday students made their way out to the Jumpingpound Demonstration Loop for some in car instruction during the test day!

Do you want to get into co-driving, and have hella cool photos like this to show all your friends and followers? Attend the 2026 RallyWest Spring Co-Driver school and step up up your game and be like Martin Matas!
The course will take place from 9AM to 5PM with a 1 hour break for lunch (provided by RallyWest) on May 9th. The goal is to then apply this knowledge to recce practice before the CSCC Spring Test Day on May 10th.

2026 RallyWest Spring Co-Driver School
Welcome to the 2026 RallyWest Co-Driver School, held at the Calgary Sports Car Club on May
9th!
The purpose of this school is to provide both novice and experienced co-drivers knowledge
about co-driving at the highest levels in North America, thanks to our seasoned and
championship-winning co-drivers.
The course will consist of an all-day classroom session, which will cover everything from the
basics like co-driving equipment, stage signage and arrowing, timecards, reviewing notice
boards, routebooks, RallySafe, to rules, writing pacenotes from scratch, and more intricate
details revolving around pre-event prep such as team movement plans, recce planning, and
going over functions of trip meters and co-driving watches.
The course will take place from 9AM to 5PM with a 1 hour break for lunch (provided by
RallyWest) on May 9th. The goal is to then apply this knowledge to recce practice before the
CSCC Spring Test Day on May 10th.
The school will cost $350/person if you are currently holding a CARS-affiliated club
membership, or $425 if you do not. The price includes a certificate of completion valid towards a
CARS co-driver license, a RallyWest x WCRC co-driver bag with a pacenote book, pen, and
lunch.
