2026 Summer Season is here! 😤

Join us for another summer of big throws! The YQG Coaches can’t wait to be back out on the track with you all! Whether you’re already part of the YQG family, or you’re looking for a new place to learn and grow, we have you covered!

Practices this summer will run Tuesdays and Fridays at St. Joseph Secondary School and Wednesday at Sandwich Secondary School.

YQG Athletics is excited to launch our 2025/2026 Winter Program as a club! This winter we are bringing you more high quality training from our talented coaching staff.

We are excited to announce that is the new home of the YQG Strength and Conditioning program. Our program is carefully designed to help develop specific strength, power and speed needed for the throwing disciplines.

And that’s a wrap!

Yesterday 8 athletes made the trip to the Niagara Area for the Fall Finale hosted by . We couldn’t have asked for a better end to the season! Walked away with 5 PB’s and a lot of positives heading into the new season.

We are super excited to get these athletes into their offseason programming, and continuing to build on an already solid base!

We have arrived!
3 of our javelin throwers are set to compete at the 2025 Canadian Legion U16/U18 Track and Field Championships.

Please join us in wishing Colin, Eric, and Marina the best of luck!

Colin and Eric compete in the U18 men’s javelin, Saturday at 1pm MDT (3pm EST)
Marina takes on the field in the U16 women’s javelin Sunday at 9:30 am MDT (11:30 EST)

Provincial weekend again!

Our U18’s and U16’s take on the rest of the province at 2025 Athletics Ontario Provincial Championships!

It’s time for the hard work to pay off for our YQG throwers.

A great showing by these two YQG Athletes last weekend at the AO Open / U20 Provincial Championships!
Ben finished 3rd in the open category, throwing a personal best.
Dane also threw a personal best and finished 4th in the U20 men’s javelin.

Proud of these two, and excited to see what the rest of the year brings!

Here we go!!
ben_ and kick off the Provincial Season today, at home, at the Athletics Ontario U20 and Open Provincials.

Mens open and U20 javelin will be combined at 1:45pm at Alumni Stadium at the University of Windsor.
