YQG Athletics is excited to launch our 2025/2026 Winter Program as a club! This winter we are bringing you more high quality training from our talented coaching staff.

We are excited to announce that is the new home of the YQG Strength and Conditioning program. Our program is carefully designed to help develop specific strength, power and speed needed for the throwing disciplines.

And that’s a wrap!

Yesterday 8 athletes made the trip to the Niagara Area for the Fall Finale hosted by . We couldn’t have asked for a better end to the season! Walked away with 5 PB’s and a lot of positives heading into the new season.

We are super excited to get these athletes into their offseason programming, and continuing to build on an already solid base!

3 of our javelin throwers are set to compete at the 2025 Canadian Legion U16/U18 Track and Field Championships.

Colin and Eric compete in the U18 men’s javelin, Saturday at 1pm MDT (3pm EST)
Marina takes on the field in the U16 women’s javelin Sunday at 9:30 am MDT (11:30 EST)

A great showing by these two YQG Athletes last weekend at the AO Open / U20 Provincial Championships!
Ben finished 3rd in the open category, throwing a personal best.
Dane also threw a personal best and finished 4th in the U20 men’s javelin.

Registration for YQG Athletics opens today!

Whether you’re a recreational athlete, competitive provincial athletes, or trying to make a splash on the National scene - we have you covered.
Windsor - Essex county’s LARGEST community of throwers! Come see what all the hype is about.

Practices will be held:
Sandwich Secondary School on Tuesdays and Fridays.
Villanova on Wednesdays. (Starting in July)
St Joseph’s High School on select Saturdays.

We’re a little late to the party - but we want to shout out .briscoe for her Bronze at the MVC Conference Championships!! Kate has fought through some significant injuries this year, but she managed to dig deep, medal, and score points for her University! Kate continues to be a model athlete not only for her school, but the YQG program. Proud of you!! Can’t wait to see what the next 2 years has in store for you.
