Join our Team! We are currently looking for a Race Car Mechanic to support our members and customers maintain their track and race cars.

We are looking for someone with a passion for motorsport, demonstrated competence in auto mechanics, 3 plus years’ experience as a mechanic. Journey Man Mechanic or in process to complete is a must. Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and able to manage competing priorities and multitask.

GOALS:
Ensure all customer vehicles including support vehicles are in the best operating condition possible and to ensure the safest and most reliable on track experience for our customers.

ACCOUNTABILIIES:
1. Responsible for proper maintenance of all customer cars, Turn 17 Fleet vehicles, support equipment and support vehicles including the RMM and Calgary shops.
2. Work with Head Race Mechanic to develop a work schedule.
3. Communicate with customers to ensure their requirements for car setup and maintenance is completed correctly and on time.
4. Inspect each vehicle to verify that it is in good condition and ready for track duty.
5. Ensure all vehicle checklists are complete with all required details and are filed ready for customer billing.
6. Responsible for communicating part requests to Head Race Mechaninic and /or General Manager, ensuring all parts required for vehicles are instock and ordered in a timely manner.
7. Follow schedule for all maintenance including but not limited to oil changes and lubrication of vehicle.
8. Responsibility for proper care of all transportation, tools, equipment and supplies.
9. Promote safety in garage by using proper tools and clean surroundings.
10. Other tasks and responsibilities as directed by Head Race Mechanic, General Manager and Partners.
11. Ability to work overtime as and when required.

Andre drove the Whissel Motorsports hauler and was gas man on the pit crew. A great guy that we got to know well travelling around the country racing over 5 years. RIP 😢

Drivers will be required to wear a helmet and long sleeves, and their vehicles must be deemed mechanically sound before being able to use the track.

That right there is a fully paved RMM circuit. Over 3.5 kms of circuit including the chicane, plus pit entrance and exit, support vehicle roads, partial paddock, and entrance roads. You can also see additional hydro-seeding happening on the berms.
