HIGHLAND DANCE CLASSES: Sat 10:45-11:30. Starting Sat Sept 12th. Learn the basics of traditional Scottish Highland dancing with BATD certified teacher Amelia McMartin! Dancers will explore fundamental movements and positions of highland dance. As well as learning dances such as Pas de Basque and Highcuts, Fling, Seann Triubhas, Sword and more. Interested in checking out highland dance? BDA Highland dance teacher, Amelia will be dancing at the Glengarry Highland Games Friday, July 31 and Saturday, August 1. The Glengarry Highland Games will be held in Maxville, and is one of North America's largest celebrations of Scottish culture, featuring massed pipe bands, heavyweight athletic competitions, and highland dancing. Break a leg Amelia McMartin!
