A New Opportunity for Local Businesses!

This season, We have 8 tournaments booked bringing hundreds of out of town vistors to our village each time!

We are excited to introduce a new initiative designed to connect local businesses with the many visitors coming through our doors. We are inviting businesses of all kinds to participate by submitting promotional offers, special deals, discounts, or swag bag items that can be shared with tournament organizers and arena users visiting Alix.

Whether you operate a restaurant, retail shop, service business, accommodation, agricultural business, or another local enterprise, this is an opportunity to get your name in front of people who may be visiting our community for the very first time or returning. We want to help our visitors discover what Alix and the surrounding area have to offer, encourage them to support local, and create meaningful connections between our arena and the businesses that help keep our community strong.

Interested in participating? Send your request/details to [email protected] by October 20th/2026 . We would love to hear from you!

If you choose to participate we will provide a list of dates for the projected tournaments for planning :)

Fun fact - The roof and frame is a ship hull and it is currently the oldest operating arena in the province of Alberta! This year we will be celebrating its 80th birthday 💙

It would be great to see it receive the love it deserves!
