If it bothers you that I’m a coach who eats sweets, this caption is for you.
For years, I lived in two extremes: restriction or binge.
Never the middle.
I’d cut sweets out completely.�White-knuckle it.�Feel deprived.�Then crash and eat everything.
Rinse. Repeat.
The problem wasn’t sweets.
I wasn’t addressing actual triggers: stress, nervous system regulation, under-eating, nutrient deficiencies, disconnection from my body.
So I fixed those first.
Now I can sit down with sweets and feel satisfied with a little bit.
Because the systems underneath changed.
Health becomes unhealthy when it gets extreme.
You see this all the time on social media.
“This is good.”�“This will kill you.”
I think the middle is better:
“This is good. This technically isn’t the best but a little bit is fine.”
So yes, I eat sweets.
You can too.
As long as your foundation is strong.
