A big thank you to everyone who came out and took part in our ANZAC Shoot competition. It was a fantastic day with great turnout, good sportsmanship, and a strong sense of camaraderie across the range.

We’re proud to honour the ANZAC spirit together—respect, resilience, and mateship—and it was great to see that reflected throughout the day.

A special thank you to the boys who kept the targets running smoothly all day—your efforts didn’t go unnoticed—and to Brett for taking care of the catering, it was greatly appreciated.

Congratulations to all participants, and well done to our winners. We hope you enjoyed the event as much as we did.

Photos from the day are below—see if you can spot yourself!

Lest we forget.

Members & guests please be aware, due to a number of members having commitments in the last week of March and the Easter Break the club meeting scheduled for the 29th of March will have to be postponed until after Easter on the 12th of April.

Apologies for the inconvenience but in order to ensure that as many people as possible are there it was necessary to move the meeting date. Following the meeting on the 12th of April there will be an opportunity for members to sight in .303 rifles
For the ANZAC shoot the following weekend.

Members & Visitors,

Just to let you that there will be some changes to the Calander as published. This coming Sunday the 22nd was scheduled for members choice, it has been requested and agreed to that initially we will be shooting 500 yards, following that there are a number of persons who wanted to shoot at 800 which was scheduled for last week. So, following the 500-yard shoot we will be moving back to 800 and then following that the 100-yard range will be opened for anyone wishing to do some load development or shoot 22’s. Also, the weekend of the 31st of May was to be a meeting, as this conflicts with the Bundaberg Prize Shoot the meeting will be moved to the previous Sunday the 24th of May. What was to be a member’s choice that Sunday will now be a 100 yard and .22 shoot. The Sunday the 31st of May will be the re-scheduled Members Choice.

10/03/2026

Members due to the recent rain event there needs to be a change to the calendar. This coming Sunday we were scheduled to shoot 800 yards. As this is the bottom end of the natural slope of the range it is going to be effectively saturated from the rain that has fallen over the last few days. According it has been decided that a different range will be shot on this coming Sunday the 15th and revert back to the Sporter Class which was not able to be shot last Sunday. An inspection of the range will be carried out this Thursday and we will either be on the 500 or the 300 yard range for the coming shoot. Whichever is the least effected by the rain.

Apologies to those looking to shoot the 800 yards but this is done in the best interest of the range due to the recent conditions.
