If you’ve got a runner lining up in today’s first Picklebet Sprint Series Heat (Race 5) at Warwick, here’s what you’re racing towards! 👀💰
The series kicks off Thursday 10 September with the Ratings Band 0–58 Handicap over 1100m, before Heat 2 on Thursday 24 September over 1200m, all leading into the Picklebet Final on Warwick Cup Day, Saturday 10 October 2026! 🏆
💰 $5,000 OWNER BONUS
A $5,000 bonus will be paid to the winning owner/s of the horse that wins the Final. To be eligible, your horse must have started in one of the heats.
💰 $5,000 TRAINER BONUS
There’s another $5,000 up for grabs for trainers, determined by points accumulated throughout the heats and Final.
🏇 POINTS SYSTEM
1st – 10 points
2nd – 8 points
4th – 6 points
5th and below – 5 points
Horses must complete the race and receive a placing to earn points.
