We are an all inclusive club for kids of school age and up! This Page has been created with the intent of supplying Future Members, Parents, Guardians, Grandparents and Family of Warwick children with information concerning our Swimming Club. Whilst everyone is encouraged to attend our Friday Nights at WIRAC to meet us and join in, it is understood that you must firstly know a bit about us. Our cl

ub has records going back to 1910. We are known to be one of the oldest Swimming Clubs in Queensland, one of the oldest clubs on the Southern Downs and have been continually operating from WIRAC since it was built in 1999. Prior to that we operated from Albert St adjoined to the EJ Portley Olympic Pool 1957. Our team caters to multiclass, Boys and Girls and young adults ranging in ages from 5 to 18 plus and for children just wanting to have a go up to Senior dedicated swimming athletes. Whilst we do have Club and Age Championships ALL of our Team are encouraged to compete against themselves. Our standard Friday Nights consist of timed heats of all strokes for all age groups in each of the strokes at the appropriate distance (12 / 25 / 50 & 100 meters) along with some novelty events for those wishing to participate in the fun with the occasional After Club get together. The Warwick Swimming Club successfully competes as a Team throughout South East Queensland. Although anyone is welcome to Come and Try on any Friday Swim Night (at no cost other than pool entry) we do hold promoted Come and Try Nights throughout the year. DDRSA have released a few dates during the Jun-Sep swim period for anyone looking to attend. YES, WIRAC might be closed but if your kids are missing the water as much as mine, why no take advantage of these local meets.
Dates released so far are:
Turbo Jets Swim Club Super 6 Time trials series @ Concordia which is a set of meets spread over 6 consecutive weeks on a Friday night starting this Friday 29th May. Noms close the wed before. Last night, some of our members attended the DDRSA 2025–2026 Presentation Night held in Toowoomba.

Our little club was absolutely over the moon to be recognised as the Champion Club at the Country Championships.🥇

As the night continued, we were again thrilled to receive the Lindsay Clyde Club Trophy, and a huge congratulations goes to Alisa Stewart, who was awarded Country Coach of the Year! 🥇🥇

What a fantastic night for the Warwick Swim Club! Once again, thank you to our volunteers, parents, and swimmers who have all played such an important part in making this season such a success.

Finally, a very big thank you to the DDRSA for all of their hard work — not only last night, but throughout the entire season. 🏊

Congratulations to all of our award recipients at our Presentation Night & to all of our swimmers on a wonderful Season! 🎊

What a fantastic evening we had celebrating—we hope everyone who attended had a wonderful time.

We were incredibly fortunate to have special guest speaker, Australian Dolphin Louis Townsend, attend and inspire our young swimmers—thank you to Club Captain Jett for making this happen!

From our lucky raffle prize winners (with some amazing prizes up for grabs!), to our silent auction successes, a delicious dinner, and a great celebration of the season, it truly was a night to remember.

Thankyou to all of the amazing local businesses that provided sponsorship and prize donations, to our wonderful committee, volunteers & parents and of course to all of our amazing swimmers!! 🐟
