Warwick Swimming Club Inc Love swimming? So do we! Join us for 'Fun Fitness & Friendship', socialise with friends and enjoy Friday night race nights! Background.

We are an all inclusive club for kids of school age and up! This Page has been created with the intent of supplying Future Members, Parents, Guardians, Grandparents and Family of Warwick children with information concerning our Swimming Club. Whilst everyone is encouraged to attend our Friday Nights at WIRAC to meet us and join in, it is understood that you must firstly know a bit about us. Our cl

ub has records going back to 1910. We are known to be one of the oldest Swimming Clubs in Queensland, one of the oldest clubs on the Southern Downs and have been continually operating from WIRAC since it was built in 1999. Prior to that we operated from Albert St adjoined to the EJ Portley Olympic Pool 1957. Our team caters to multiclass, Boys and Girls and young adults ranging in ages from 5 to 18 plus and for children just wanting to have a go up to Senior dedicated swimming athletes. Whilst we do have Club and Age Championships ALL of our Team are encouraged to compete against themselves. Our standard Friday Nights consist of timed heats of all strokes for all age groups in each of the strokes at the appropriate distance (12 / 25 / 50 & 100 meters) along with some novelty events for those wishing to participate in the fun with the occasional After Club get together. The Warwick Swimming Club successfully competes as a Team throughout South East Queensland. Although anyone is welcome to Come and Try on any Friday Swim Night (at no cost other than pool entry) we do hold promoted Come and Try Nights throughout the year. Please note that should you wish to join us we are accredited to accept Fair Play Vouchers (should you qualify) to cover all membership costs. This Page
In the interests of keeping our children safe and to prevent the invasion of spam submitted all posts will also be filtered prior to acceptance. Furthermore, if this page is to prosper and grow, a safe environment must be established and maintained. Everyone must feel comfortable supplying input without fear of harassment. As such personal attacks will not be tolerated and all nasty comments will be deleted; anyone who persists in bullying or disruptive behaviour will be blocked. It is our hope that this media will assist us in promoting our Club and making it even better. It is not intended that communication within this Page be one way ............. So feel free to Post
