You’re not struggling because you don’t know what to do. You know that you need to eat veggies, you know that you need protein each day, you know walking more helps you. And you know that training 3 times per week is better than training 7 days one week and then nothing for a month.

The problem isn’t a lack of knowledge, the problem is that you’re trying to change everything all at once.

Every Monday looks a little like this:
- New meal plan
- Daily workouts
- 10,000 steps
- 3L of water
- No chocolate
- No takeaways
- Perfect tracking

By Wednesday you’re bored, by Thursday you’re exhausted and by Friday night, you’ve already shut down and thinking “Stuff it, I’ll start again Monday.”

And the cycle continues once again.

The women that I work with who get the best results aren’t perfect, they just show up consistently week by week, month by month, year by year.

So instead of focusing on 10 things this week, pick ONE.

Maybe it’s hitting your protein target.
Maybe it’s walking for 20 minutes each day.
Maybe it’s simply training 3 times this week.

Master one first, then add another habit, then another etc and build from there.

If you’re a busy mum or woman who knows that to do, but struggles to action that consistently you’re in the right place.

DM PLAN and let’s chat.

This is the reality of trying to mum and run my own business.

Some days working from home with two kids looks organised.
Check-ins are done while they nap. House semi-clean, and washing put away. 😂

And other days?

It looks like Aladdin or The Wiggles on in the background while I finish client check-ins.

It looks like bringing Reggie into PT sessions last minute because his nap didn’t go to plan.

It looks like pumping breast milk during a PT so I can keep feeding Reggie while still showing up for my business and the women inside it.

The reality is… it’s messy sometimes.

Motherhood and business together can feel like you’re drowning more often than not. But I’m so grateful.

Grateful for the clients who are along for the ride.

The women who are so patient when I need to pump. The women who understand when there’s a baby on my hip during a session even though I’ve meticulously planned my whole day around this session and not having the kids with me.

The women who give me purpose outside of just being “mum”.

And to every working mum out there trying to juggle all the hats while still showing up for your family, your goals, your work and yourself… I see you 💕

You’re doing an amazing job ✨

Sometimes we get so focused on where we’re going that we forget to stop and look at how far we’ve already come. We get caught up chasing the end goal, when the middle of the journey is just as important.

Because if you could go back and show that freshly postpartum version of you — the girl bringing home a tiny baby with no idea what she was doing, navigating the exhaustion, the overwhelm, and the complete identity shift that comes with motherhood to who you are now… she would be so bloody proud.

Proud of the mother you’ve become. Proud that you kept showing up even when it was the last thing you wanted to do.

So if you’re sitting there worried that you’re not where you want to be just yet, take a moment to reflect. Because I’m telling you- you’ve come a lot further than you think you have and I bet PP you could have only dreamed you’d be where you are now. 🫶🏼

I had one of the most mentally challenging training sessions I’ve had in a long time and it’s had me thinking.

So many people start their fitness journey feeling motivated. Training feels good, strength improves, new routines and habits feel exciting.

And then along comes your first mentally hard session.

The session where you feel flat, your motivation disappears, the kids aren’t vibing. The weights feel heavy, and you stop feeling stronger. The session where your mind is telling you “What’s the point, it’s not worth it?”

But instead of that being the end of it and motivation coming in to save the day, the mentally hard session happens again. And again. And again.

So you quit. I know, because I used to as well.

Not because the process isn’t working… But because you expected motivation to carry you majority of the way.

The reality is that 80–90% of your sessions probably won’t feel amazing.

And that’s NORMAL.

The clients who see long-term results aren’t the ones who only train when they feel motivated. They’re the ones who keep showing up through the mentally hard seasons too.

Because those sessions teach you more than just physical strength.

They build;
- Resilience
- Discipline
- Mental toughness
- Consistency

And while those sessions might not always be your most “optimal” training days, they’re the ones that create the biggest long-term change.

Showing up imperfectly will always beat you stopping completely.

Because the consistency you build on the hard days is what creates the results and solidifies your habits long term.

I always find Mother’s Day to be a challenging day. But nothing will ever take away the gratitude for these two little boys that finally made their way to our family. Beyond grateful to be their mum ❤️

Do you really not have time for your health and fitness since having kids… Or have your expectations just not caught up with your current season?

Because here’s the truth most mums don’t want to admit… 🙋🏼‍♀️

It’s not that you can’t get results anymore. It’s that you’re still trying to approach it like you don’t have a little human or humans to look after now. And that is a completely different world.

Instead of your time truly being your own, you now have;
- Less or no uninterrupted time
- Less mental energy
- Less recovery
- More unpredictability (who knows how your night is going or what attitude your toddler is waking up with?)
- More responsibility
- More people needing you… All day… every day.

So no, your goals aren’t out of reach, but the way you’re used to trying to achieve them might be and you need to adjust your expectations.

Because if you don’t, you’ll constantly feel like you’re failing, like it’s not worth it, and questioning why is it so hard?

When really, you’re just living a very different life now.
Start by asking better questions:
1. What does health and fitness realistically look like for you in this season?
2. What are your actual priorities right now? (not the pre kid version of me)
3. Where is my time actually going? (Screen time???? 👀)

It won’t be a “perfect to plan” every day.

Is any day really when you have kids running around? 😅

But if you’re aware of that, you can adjust and have a plan that actually gets you to your goal instead of wondering why you can’t do it anymore.

Because the reality is… you can. It just looks a little different now.

And just like that another Monday rolls around.. Are you “starting fresh” yet again this week?

If you are, then it’s time to make a serious change… because let’s be real you can’t afford to keep going like this.

Fighting the guilt spiral, punishing yourself with heavy restriction that you and I both know won’t last long enough to make a real change, and feeling like you’ve failed… again.

I know it sounds harsh, but it’s time to break the cycle because you deserve more than this.

Will it be easy? Nope!

But will it be worth it? Not a doubt in my mind!

MAY Intake is open and I have 5 spots available for those women who are finally ready to take accountability and stop waiting for the next Monday to “restart” their journey.

Send me a DM or click the link in my bio and let’s make a plan.
