Wednesday golf in cool conditions and light winds had 23 players come out for the mid week stableford comp.
Winner of the day with 40 points and decided on count back was Steve Busch with the unlucky Rick Haase being edged out into second place.
Third place was Danny Dolan with 38 points - well played gentleman.
Other good scores Dave McCarthy, Grant Donovan 37 pts, Bret Sando, Stuart Bamford 36 pts, Scooter 35 pts, Andy Bruce, Gerard Burt, Wayne Lowe, Lachy White 34 pts, Frosty Frost, John Gore 33 pts, Michael Williams 31 pts. Good golf everyone.

Long Putt went to John Gore and Encouragement award to Ken Mee.

Saturday golf in cool with early drizzle , turned into a pleasant cold day but rain free at least. Battling it out were 23 players for the Joh Gore Trophy in a stableford competition.
Winner of the day with a resplendent 39 points was Dave McCarthy ( having a Birdie on 17 gave him a 5 pointer for that hole- sorta helps the scorecard👏👍). Second place was Viv Baker on 37 points and in third place Josh Greenhalgh on 36 points - good golf fellas.
A grade winner was Ian Shaw on 35pts and Brad Jamieson in the runners up slot with a close 34 pts.
B grade winner was Grant Donovan on 35pts with Steve Busch on 32pts.
C grade winner was Mat Whitbread with 32pts and Wayne Lowe in the second place slot with 31pts.
NTP’s No3 Ian Shaw, No6 John Vorsty, No11 Sam Hall and 2nd shot into 14 was Dave McCarthy.
Long Drives A grade- Gezza Burt, B grade Grant Donovan, C grade Neville Jordan.

Well that was a HUGE week, month etc etc…. for the WGC ladies. But well done to the organising committee, led so well by our President Eyvonne Price, Captain Jan Paull & secretary Colleen Cox, Treasurer Steph…. plus many others. What an amazing team. To all of you that helped & contributed, heartfelt thanks & well done. So many of our visitors commented it was their best country week ever! Following on from Saturday’s Final Club championship qualifying round. The scores have been tallied and the results are in. So following below are the A, B & C grade qualifiers.
Matches will be 1v8, 2v7, 3v6, 4v5 for A & B grade.
C grade has only 5 qualifiers,so matches are as follows 4v5 in the morning with 1,2&3 having a bye and then in the afternoon round, 1 v winner of 4v5 and 2v3 play off. Captain Steve will have the flow chart up on the notice board next Saturday, which may make things clearer.!😁👌
Winners of the morning matches will then play off in the afternoon to determine the two final players for each grade to meet in the grand final on Sunday August 23rd over 36 holes.
1st and 2nd round knockout matches will be played on Sunday August 2nd, with Teeoff times starting at 9.00am. Good Luck to all participants and spectators are welcome to come and watch anytime throughout the day!

Saturday golf in perfect winter weather had 31 players come for the Viv Baker Trophy and the 3rd and Final round of the Club Championship Qualifying.
Winner of the day was Rick Haase with 84 os/ 72 Net , well done Rick.
In a close ocb decision for 2nd & 3rd place on a score of 73, Sponsor of the day Viv Baker finished second with Kym Rankin in third place, well done fellas.
A grade winner was Ian Shaw on 75 with Patrick O’Reilly in second place on 79.
B grade winner was Lachy White on 73 and Grant Donovan on 74.
C grade winner was Neville Jordan with a 74 ocb from Mat Whitbread.

Wednesday golf drew a field of 22 players out ,on a day with no wind (amazing) , full sunshine and a pleasant daytime temperature. Nice change from the past month.
Winner of the day and taking advantage of the day and the course,with a resounding score of 39 points was our club president Grant Donovan’s congrats on a top result.
Dave McCarthy was second with a solid score of 37 points. In the third and fourth spots final positions were decided by countback with both Viv Baker sneaking in front of Shea Cowan with 36points apiece.
NTP’s No3 Robbert Klomp, No6 No One, No11 Ian Tobin.
Long Putt Dave Evans and Encouragement award to Ken Mee ( it’s time to share this award around a bit Ken😂).

Saturday is a stroke round and the 3rd & final Qualifying round for the club championships. So if you have played in any of the other 2 rounds , complete this weekends round and your best two rounds are counted. Who knows where you may end up!

Saturday golf in the toughest weather this year (rain, wind and very cold) had 24 players come out for a Par comp , Brenton Jamieson Trophy and 2nd round of the Captains Trophy.
Winners of the day (top three results). In first place overall Brenton Jamieson with +1, - great golf considering the weather. Second place was Steve Busch on -3 and third overall was Neville Jordan with -4 ocb.
A grade winner Ian Shaw on -5 with runner up Brad Jamieson with -6 ocb.
B grade winner Greg Frost was on -4 ocb from runner up Kym Rankin on -4.
C grade winner Viv Baker had a -4 also with Simon Copley runner up on -5.
NTP’s No3 Ian Shaw, No6 Brenton Jamieson, No11 on one, 2nd shot on No14 was earnt by Arron Day.
Long Drives A grade Ian Shaw, B grade Greg Price, C grade no one.
