"WALHALLA ALIVE" - OPERATIONAL OVER EASTER!!

As per a previous post our exciting new attraction, WALHALLA ALIVE is almost complete and quickly approaching the official launch.

Last Friday (27th March) we hosted about 15 Walhalla locals at a "Sneak Peek" at the newly refurbished shop. Finger food was served and everyone had a chance to experience what all the fuss (and lots of volunteer labour) has been about.

Everyone was suitably impressed.

This was also our first opportunity to trial the experience on the public and a few very minor problems were identified. These were quickly fixed.

Over the last two days we have been conducting a few other trials on willing participants, in groups of 4. We need to know things like effective operating times between all participants, cleaning times for the masks, operational difficulties between generations etc.

We are excited to now offer Easter visitors the chance to experience WALHALLA ALIVE on a limited operating schedule. This will be a further opportunity to make sure that everything is working and also be a chance to get all of our guides proficient in running the experience, in readiness for the official launch.

So if you are interested we will be operating WALHALLA ALIVE from (this) Friday to Easter Monday. There will be 4 time slots on each day, 10.30am, 11.15am, 2.00pm and 2.45pm. We have the ability to host a maximum of 6 guests in each time slot.

Pricing is $20 per adult and $15 per child (12YO and above).

Our electronic booking facility is not currently operational so please book directly at the Walhalla Museum which is open 10.00am - 4.00pm (7 Days). You can also book over the phone by ringing 5165-6250

All profits from WALHALLA ALIVE will be used in further Walhalla restoration, preservation and promotional projects.

Walhalla cricket club are running a sausage sizzle on the what will be a great day If anyone has any donations for raffles and or auctions being run by the Pres will be great as all going to a great cause. Hope to see you all there

Game day this Sunday 1st march
Come down and watch the mighty Bundaluguah women’s cricket teams from 12oclock Barby lunch will be running, hamburgers snags and egg and bacon rolls memorabilia stall and we will be handing out certificates to those that walk up the track

Another fantastic day up the top perfect weather and a great game between the Whitlams and the Menzies started off with Richard on the bagpipes and a fantastic rendition of the Australian anthem by a young lady named Charley wow she was good. Thanks to all those that came and made it a great day and of course a huge thanks to the members of the commitee also Roger Andrew and Chris who all helped out.
