One week on… and it honestly feels like a blur.

Months of planning, early mornings, logistics, emails, course planning, volunteer coordination… and then suddenly race day arrives and it all flies by in a few incredible hours.

Seeing all the athletes take on the Sid James Victor Harbor Triathlon and the Victor226, families and supporters lining the course, and the whole community coming together made every moment worth it.

There were challenging conditions, plenty of moving parts, and a lot happening behind the scenes but events like this always remind us why we do it. The energy, the effort, the finish line smiles, and the stories that come with them.

To everyone who raced, volunteered, supported, and cheered… thank you for being part of it.

Now that the dust is settling, we’re reflecting on what worked, what we can improve, and what the future of this event looks like.

But one thing is certain…
the triathlon community is something pretty special.

And yes… we’re already thinking about what comes next.

Who else feels like the last week has been a bit of a blur?

Big thanks to Rundna for their continued support of Pushing Limits Events. 🙌

Partnerships like this play a huge role in helping us deliver high-quality events for our endurance community, and we’re incredibly grateful to have backing what we do. From race day presence to supporting athletes across the season, their commitment to the sport and the community does not go unnoticed.

We’re excited that this partnership will continue into the future as we keep building bigger and better events for our athletes. 🚴‍♂️🏊‍♂️🏃‍♂️

There’s plenty happening behind the scenes right now and some exciting event announcements are coming next week… 👀

🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️ Victor226 – Class of 2026

What an incredible 3 days of racing! Massive congratulations to all the Victor226 legends – the Class of 2026 who took on the challenge and completed the full three days.

From the 2.3km swim, 100km ride and 11.1km run on Day 1, to backing it up with the 40km ride and half marathon on Day 2, and finishing strong with the 1.5km swim (shortened but not too short), 40km ride and 10km run on Day 3 — this is a huge achievement.

You should all be incredibly proud of what you’ve accomplished. The grit, determination and camaraderie across the three days was amazing to witness. Now it’s time to rest, recover and celebrate what you’ve achieved. 💪

A huge thank you to the support crews who make this event so special. Being out there for your athlete — and often cheering and helping everyone else along the way — is a massive part of what makes Victor226 such a unique event.

👏 Well done legends.

What an incredible day at the Sid James Victor Harbor Triathlon 🙌

A huge thank you to every athlete who came down and raced, pushed themselves, supported each other and helped us close out the season in such a great way. The energy across the course was amazing all day.

We also want to give a massive shout out to our volunteers and marshals. These events simply do not happen without you giving up your time to support the triathlon community. Your help across the swim, bike and run courses was outstanding.

To our sponsors and partners, thank you for backing local events and helping us deliver racing opportunities for athletes across South Australia.

And finally, thank you to the Victor Harbor community for welcoming us once again and supporting the event.

This was the final race of the 25/26 season, and we’re incredibly grateful for everyone who raced, volunteered and supported events throughout the year.

🏁 Results are now live:

This is a tough one to write.

Unfortunately, we’ve made the difficult decision to cancel the Murray Bridge event.

This entire season has been challenging numbers-wise, and with the ongoing impact of the algae bloom on triathlon participation, our small business has taken a significant hit financially. After a lot of consideration, we had to make a decision that protects the long-term future of Pushing Limits Events.

We know this will disappoint some of you, and we are truly sorry. These decisions are never made lightly.

What this does mean is that the Sid James Victor Harbor Triathlon is now the final race of the 25/26 season.

If you’ve been sitting on the fence… this is your sign.

If you want to race this season — don’t wait.

We would absolutely love to finish the season strong, surrounded by the community that continues to support local events, grassroots racing and the future of triathlon in SA.

Entries are still open now. Let’s make the last one count.
