Pirate's Sea Charters Owner, Rod Ness, is a commercial fisherman who has been fishing locally and State-wide for over 30 years.

Rod is a keen fisherman and passionate about sharing his love for fishing, his care for a sustainable environment and his experiences with others. Rod and his partner Julie, currently own and operate a successful business in Victor Harbor - The Pirate's Seachest - an outlet for fresh and local seafood. Through this business, we are often asked by our customers if we do fishing charters. Wanting to

share their passion for fish and fishing, they're now offering charters in their home town of Victor Harbor. All charters depart from The Bluff boat ramp, Franklin Parade, Encounter Bay. Charters cover the beautiful coastal waters of the Fleurieu Peninsula and Coorong. Personalised charters for 4 passengers in a spacious 7.5m Sailfish catamaran or 8 passengers in the 8.5m Alufarm.

Unfortunately we regrettably advise that we are currently NOT doing any charters due to the impact of the algal bloom in the Fleurieu region. The impact has been devastating to the area with fish becoming scarce and sparse.
