61kg and “skinny fat.” 😅
The scale went UP and I look better than ever..
When you gain muscle, you gain weight.
When you eat food, you gain weight.
That’s not a bad thing. That’s the process working.
If you eat 500g of potato, you weigh 500g more.
Eat more carbs? Water retention can bump the scale the next day.
Sick? Inflammation. On your period? Scale goes up. None of that is fat gain.. it’s just being a human in a body.
This is why I tell my clients to stop treating the scale as the only data point.
Use progress photos.
Use measurements.
Use how your clothes fit.
Because sometimes the scale doesn’t move and you’re leaning out.
Sometimes it goes UP and you’re looking better than ever.
If you want to build muscle and actually change your shape, you have to get comfortable with the number going up.
That was the hardest mindset shift for me.
And it’s usually the one holding most women back. 🤍
