We are very grateful to be back racing on our home track at Cluden Park after the road trip to cairnsjockeyclub on Friday.

BLT has his last race for this prep before he goes for a very well deserved spell and will line up in the Class 4 1200m. He will enjoy the drop back in distance and the opportunity to just go across the road to race rather than travel.

No gold medals today at Cairns Jockey Club but we did make it to the 3rd podium with Fistsoffury coming a lovely third and Better Breakout will bounce back after coming 6th. It was an honour to be asked to be on the special guest panel at the Ladies Long Lunch and speak about my journey into being a racehorse trainer 🫶

Tomorrow we are heading up the Bruce Highway to our happy hunting ground at cairnsjockeyclub!

Fistsoffury (Knuckles) lines up in the Class 3, 1450m and will enjoy racing against his own class and stepping up in distance. He will be ridden by Fiona Sandkuhl as he has a soft spot for females 💙

Then Better Breakout (Bandit) is hoping to make his Cairns record 2 from 2 in the BM60 1400m. He has freshened up nicely since his last start and will be ridden by Ben Kennedy.

I love the Cairns Carnival and walking down the straight before each race and soaking up the atmosphere is always a great feeling.

Looking for someone to come up and back to Cairns Jockey Club this Friday with me 🤗 Two starters to strap (so need to have a stablehand licence) and help with (possibly in same race). I can drive while you be passenger princess but there will be a bit of walking involved once at the races.

Will pay good $ and shout you a hotbox dinner at Cardwell on the way home 😛

We have two runners today at Cluden Park with Fistsoffury & Betterlucknexttime stepping out on their home turf.

Knuckles was a much improved run last start to come 4th and steps up from Class 3 to Open company to keep him ticking over but he will love having only 51kg on his back today.

BLT just loves his racing and steps up to 1400m today and will try his heart out, as always.

Both to be ridden by Amy Graham.

We are so proud to have 1 runner on Cluden Park’s biggest day of the year - Townsville Cup Day 🏆

BLT will line up in the prestigious Cleveland Bay over 1300m. It is a big step up after his win last week but he is healthy, happy and full of confidence so why not give it a go?

He will again be ridden by Fiona Sandkuhl.
