We’ve seen some incredible basketball throughout the season, with plenty of big performances, close games and unforgettable moments. Now it all comes down to one final night!

The road to Grand Final glory starts tonight at Iron Arena! 🏆

💥 U14 Boys
Our U14 Boys are ready to battle it out in their first semi final, with everything on the line and a spot in next week’s Grand Final up for grabs!

💪 Men’s B Grade – Division 1 & Division 2
B Grade has been split into Division 1 and Division 2, and with all four games set to be a battle, there’s plenty of finals action to look forward to!

🔥 The intensity is about to go up a level, the pressure is on, and we can’t wait to see what tonight’s semi finals produce!

UNDER 15s COUNTRY & METRO, HEROES CHALLENGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Basketball NSW would like to congratulate the U15 selected athletes for 2027 Heroes Challenges.

The Heroes Challenges form part of Basketball NSW’s Athletes Pathways, and are designed to inspire, develop, and retain young athletes by providing those selected from the 2026 Performance Pathway Trials, with high-quality training, competition, and personal growth opportunities. The Hero Challenges aim to empower players on and off the court, building resilience, confidence, and a lifelong love for the game.

Selected athletes will now take part in elite training, mentorship, and development opportunities.

The Boys Challenge will run 19-20th January and the Girls Challenge will run 21st-22nd January in Penrith.

The Basketball NSW team will be in contact with the selected athletes in the next few weeks.

We extend our congratulations to all athletes on their achievement.

UNDER 16’s + 18’s COUNTRY & METRO PERFORMANCE PATHWAY ANNOUNCEMENT | D-LEAGUE

Congratulations to the following U16s & U18s Country and Metro athletes who have been selected to play in the D-League tournament in September.

The aim of the D-League is to identify talented players and coaches from Country and Metro NSW, who are competing and coaching within the NSW Waratah Junior Leagues and assist with their development by having them train, play and coach with and against each other in a tournament-style environment.

The Basketball NSW team will be in contact with the selected athletes in the next few weeks.

The defending champions, Cyclones, come into this one banking a wealth of skill and experience. But can Wingnuts conjure up the upset and use their years of experience to knock off the reigning champs?

Swish Kebabs 🆚 Eclipse
The Swish Kebabs have come a long way in a short time and have quickly established themselves as the competition’s dark horse. But standing in their way is the young and energetic Eclipse rep squad.

Will Eclipse’s speed and energy be enough to outplay the Swish Kebabs, or will the dark horses continue to keep everyone guessing 🌟🔥

💥 MEN’S A GRADE

Upbound 🆚 Terry White
Long-time competition heavyweights Upbound are back in the finals mix, but they’ll face a newly assembled and hungry Terry White squad.

Can the young Terry White team cause an upset, or will Upbound’s experience prove too much?

Flint Tropics 🆚 Steelers
This one could swing either way! 🔥

The Flint Tropics will be looking to put an end to the Steelers’ run, but with both teams fighting for their place in the next stage, this is shaping up to be an epic finals battle.

UNDER 14’s COUNTRY PERFORMANCE PATHWAY ANNOUNCEMENT | ACJBC

Congratulations to the Under 14 Country athletes who have been selected to represent New South Wales at the Australian Country Junior Basketball Cup (ACJBC), following the Country U14 Performance Pathway Trials. The selected athletes will travel to Albury to compete from 10th–16th January, 2027.
