Wishing all of our players, coaches, managers and families the very best of luck this weekend as they head off to compete in the John Martin Country Tournament.

🏀 THURSDAY NIGHT WINTER COMPETITION – REFEREE & TABLE ROSTER 🏀

Please see the attached referee and table roster for this week's Winter Competition fixtures.

🚨 FINAL REGISTRATION REMINDER 🚨

Any player who has not completed their 2026 Winter Competition registration will NOT be permitted to take the court. There will be NO exceptions. Registrations have been open for an extended period and all players must now be registered to participate.

👕 TEAM SINGLETS ENFORCED FROM THIS WEEKEND 👕

All teams are expected to be in matching team singlets moving forward. Please ensure all players are correctly uniformed before taking the court.

⚠️ UNDER 12 BOYS, UNDER 12/14 GIRLS & UNDER 14 BOYS PLAYERS ⚠️

Tornado Representative singlets are NOT permitted to be worn during domestic competition games.

Players in these divisions must wear:
✅ Taree Basketball black and white reversible singlets.

Reversible singlets are available for purchase from the canteen for $45.

🏀 TUESDAY NIGHT WINTER COMPETITION DRAW – THIS WEEK AT IRON ARENA 🏀

Another big night of basketball is set for Tuesday with games across our U17 Mixed, Women's League and Men's A Grade competitions, along with Aussie Hoops, Super 10's and Representative Training.

📋 IMPORTANT REGISTRATION REMINDER

The vast majority of players have now completed their registrations – thank you to everyone who has done the right thing and ensured they are eligible to play.

❗ Any player who has not completed their 2026 Winter Competition registration will NOT be permitted to take the court. NO EXCEPTIONS. ❗

If you believe you still need assistance with your registration, please arrive well before your game time and speak with Amy before taking the court

The draw for this week's Taree Basketball Winter Competition is now live. Please check your game times and arrive with plenty of time before your scheduled match.

⚠️ IMPORTANT REGISTRATION NOTICE ⚠️

All player registrations are now PAST DUE.

Any player who is not registered and appearing on the game iPads will NOT be permitted to take the court under any circumstances.

❌ NO REGISTRATION = NO PLAY
❌ NO EXCEPTIONS

If you require assistance completing your registration, please arrive at Iron Arena with sufficient time before your game and see Amy for assistance.

👕 TEAM UNIFORMS

Team singlets will be enforced this week. Please ensure all players are wearing the correct team uniform.

Teams without matching singlets can purchase Taree Basketball reversible jerseys for use throughout the season.

🏀 TONIGHT'S WINTER COMPETITION BASKETBALL – REFEREE & DRAW UPDATE 🏀

Please check tonight's draw carefully, as a number of changes have been made due to team adjustments. These updates are now reflected in the official draw.

🔥 We are excited to officially tip off our Under 17s Winter Competition tonight and look forward to a great season ahead!

📋 TABLE DUTY
With correct scoring now being implemented across competitions, one parent/representative from each team is required to complete table duty for every game. Your assistance is essential to ensure games run smoothly and scores are recorded accurately.

✅ REGISTRATIONS
All player registrations are now well overdue. Effective immediately:

NO PLAYER WILL BE PERMITTED TO TAKE THE COURT WITHOUT A COMPLETED 2026 WINTER COMPETITION REGISTRATION – NO EXCEPTIONS.

If you require assistance completing your registration, please arrive at the stadium early and Amy will be available to help.

🏀 WHAT A WEEKEND FOR TAREE BASKETBALL! 🏀
This weekend we had the privilege of hosting U16 Girls Representative Basketball here in Taree, and what an incredible display of talent and heart it was!

We welcomed Maitland and Central Coast to our courts — fantastic teams who brought some seriously tough competition. To everyone who made the trip, thank you for being part of such a great weekend of basketball! 🙌

But let’s talk about our Taree girls… 👏 FOUR GAMES. FOUR WINS. 🔥
The girls were absolutely outstanding — playing hard, playing smart, and playing together. We couldn’t be prouder of the effort, determination and skill on show. This group is something special! ⭐

A huge thank you to our coaches, officials, volunteers, and everyone who came out to cheer. Moments like these are what community sport is all about. 💛

This Saturday and Sunday, our incredible U16 Taree's representative girls' basketball team is playing at home, and they need *your* energy! These dedicated athletes have trained hard, and now it's their moment to shine. Come on down to the Iron Arena and be part of the excitement. Let's fill the stands, cheer them on, and show our local stars the amazing community spirit Taree is known for. Your support truly inspires these young women to play their absolute best!
