Previously situated at Lyndoch, now moving forward to bigger and better things, starting with the brand-new Barossa Rams Rugby Club Facility in Tanunda, Barossa Valley SA
We field teams in Senior Men's and Women's Premier Grade and Juniors (U7 - U18) Formerly The Roseworthy Rams RUFC, the club relocated at the beginning of the 2006 season when funding from Adelaide University, Roseworthy Campus
was withdrawn. Having played in Grand Finals in 2004 (4th Div) and 2005 (3rd Div),The Rams went through 2006 season undefeated, finishing with a victory over Brighton in the Grand Final to take out the 3rd Division title. In 2008 the club took a big step with the introduction of junior rugby in the Barossa Valley. In 2009 we were fielding two junior teams. One in the U8 and one in the U14 age groups. In 2010 we have added another junior side to our ever growing club. We are happy to announce in 2011 we continue to grow by adding and Under 12’s and Under 16’s. The number of senior sides to be fielded is yet to be decided, but rest assured that The Rams will be playing in the second grade as a minimum. The club is now located at 44 Magnolia Road Tanunda, in the famous Barossa Valley wine region of South Australia. We have a base of local players boosted by visitors from interstate and overseas who are working in the local area.
