We welcome players of all abilities and gender. This however is subject to adherence with the SJRU Competition rules. We reserve the right to limit numbers within age groups where we would not be able to field a full team. In Minis from Under 6s to Unders 9’s, players and teams are not graded. In under 10’s to Opens players are graded on their ability to demonstrate the basic skills of the game, s

kills necessary for the particular position selected, their ability to participate in a team environment and potential for future development. Team Grading: In under 10’s to Opens, the club will assess each team on its merits and request appropriate grading in the Sydney Junior Rugby Union (SJRU) competition. The objective is a grade where players enjoy their rugby and are competitive. We don't focus on a team in every A grade nor measure success by the number of grand final wins. We believe players should play at a standard where they are appropriately challenged and provided with an opportunity to demonstrate and develop their skills. Playing time: LJRC firmly encourages equal game time for all players in a squad. The club recognizes at certain times, Coaches and Managers may wish to field the strongest side possible. Where this is done, team management will consult with the players and parents with game time expectations understood and agreed to before game day. 🏉💚❤️💙 Congratulations to our 2026 Boys Representatives! 💙❤️💚🏉

We are incredibly proud of all our Lindfield Junior Rugby Club players selected to represent Gordon District at the NSW Junior Rugby Union State Championships this season.

From our U12s through to our U16s, these boys have demonstrated outstanding commitment, sportsmanship and dedication to their rugby, and we are thrilled to see them rewarded with representative honours.

A special congratulations to our U12 representatives, Paddy Cranna and Charlie Mancey, who were part of the Gordon side that progressed through the tournament undefeated before finishing as Sydney Cup runners-up. An outstanding achievement and a fantastic experience for both players. 🏆

We would also like to acknowledge our U14 representatives, Elliott Beguin-Dibden and Cameron Stirling, who earned selection through the NSWJRU Player Pool program. The Player Pool is a fantastic initiative that provides opportunities for players who may have missed selection in their own district to still experience representative rugby, compete at the State Championships, develop their game and build friendships with teammates from across NSW. We are proud to see both boys making the most of this opportunity.

The pathway from Lindfield Juniors to representative rugby continues to grow stronger each year, and we couldn't be prouder of every player who has pulled on a representative jersey and represented their club with pride.

🏉💙❤️💚 Congratulations to our 2026 Girls Representatives! 💚❤️💙🏉

We are incredibly proud of all our Lindfield Junior Rugby Club players selected to represent Gordon District at the NSW Junior Rugby Union State Championships this season.

From our U14s through to our U18s, these players have demonstrated outstanding commitment, skill, sportsmanship and club spirit, and we are thrilled to see them rewarded with representative honours.

A special congratulations to our U18 girls, who capped off an outstanding campaign by winning both the NSW State Championships and the Sydney Cup. What an incredible achievement and a testament to the hard work and dedication of this talented group of young women. 🏆🏆

We would also like to acknowledge and thank Warringah Rats Junior Rugby Union for the successful joint venture partnership with Gordon in the U14 girls division. This collaboration provided a fantastic opportunity for players from both districts to compete, develop and create lasting friendships through rugby.

📣📣 Last Thursday LJRC hosted an amazing golf day event to raise funds for the 2026 Kawanishi Tour. Special thanks goes to our amazing partners, and to Ewan and Jon who worked tirelessly to ensure the day went off without a hitch.

We are so happy to share that we raised over $60k! 🙌 congratulations to all the winners and thank you to all who participated and made the day such a memorable event 🤍🩵🤍🩵🤍
